8 ~ Gone

"baby, our Seokjin?"

Namjoon rushed to the crying male, noticing the distress scents released by the omega. The combination of minty and cedar was clouding their hall space, sending an uncomfortable feeling to Namjoon's alpha hormone. Their mating bond throbbed in slight pain due to the stress.  Jimin was crouching on the tiles, shoulder heaving, tears non stop flooding down through his red cheeks. Needing for some comfort from his husband who had just arrived.

Namjoon tightened his embrace for the sobbing omega. Whispering soft. This is not gonna be easy for them.

"Joonie I'm sorry.. I'm really sorry. I really tried to direct the attention of dad's people away from Seokjin. I sent him alone to go inside the airport while trying to chase them away. I shouldn't do that. I should've accompanied him.  I should have been with Seokjin till the end. I'm sorry Joonie..please.."

Namjoon knew the plan wasn't working well. 10 hours gap was too long for him to be able to reach Seokjin and Jimin as soon as possible. While being in the conference his mind couldn't stop from thinking of the two omegas. Too many if and why in his mind. He monitored every moves of his mate from the their mating tracker. He ditched the last meeting that he should lead in the conference once he saw his father's subordinates successfully trailing Jimin's cars and booked the fastest plane back to the omegas. Their bonded mating scar tingles along his journey home, signaling him with fears and assumptions. His little brother needs him. His mate needs him. Namjoon knew he had to be fast but others are obviously faster than him.

"I'll talk to dad. We'll get him back. Don't cry like this baby. This is not your fault. We are all agreed with the plan. I'm sorry I should've been with you guys. Dad will listen to me. I will bring Seokjin here, you will meet him again baby.. Jiminie baby, please"

Namjoon rocked the now pliant body. Jimin was almost calming down now, thanks to Namjoon's comforting smell masking his own upset one. He stared at his husband's eyes, seeking for the resolution and unspoken promises. Wanted some assurances with the words, urged to be convinced totally before putting his whole faiths and trusts towards the alpha.

"But how alpha, you have tried from years ago.. how this time would make it any different?"

He asked in confusion. Holding Namjoon's hand that was on his cheeks, wiping away his shedded tears.

"Because I'll be the Kim Alpha Leader in a mere time my dear. all representatives from Kim clan in the conference had casted their votes on me. I got the majority votes as the next Kim Leader. Once I'm fully appointed, I'll make sure to get rid all those nasty treatment towards your types baby. No more omegas or betas to be treated unfairly in Kim's line or any clans and I promise you that. Now let's get you shower and tidy up, you've been so caught up with the situation. Then, we will go to my h-"

"PARK JIMIN!!!"

It's Kim Jaewon's voice, thundering through the small space in the house. The older man slammed open their front door in rude and haste steps. Several of his followers guarded him from the back. Namjoon grabbed Jimin's arms bringing him to stand up, both are shocked with the sudden presence ambushing their house. He hid the smaller omega behind his back, all prepared in case for any attacks or threats from the unwelcoming alphas and betas towards his mate.

"Dad, why? What are you doing here? Where is Seokjin?"

Kim Jaewon's expression changed in seconds. What kind of lies and dramas that both of his son and son in law trying to create in front of him now. He shook his head, not believing the question that had just been asked by Namjoon.

"Where is Seokjin? you asked me where is Seokjin? Kim Namjoon, don't try to play innocent. I am seriously disappointed with your action, why are you so stupid playing along with the little game that your omega brother started. I don't have time for any pretention, now give me Seokjin. Where did you hide the omega?

hey, Park Jimin where did you hide Seokjin? Quick, I know this is part of your idea. Stupid omegas, you guys never stop from giving me troubles. Stop playing fake with me and show me Seokjin."

The older alpha tsk. Feeling like he's too old to deal with such ruckus. His instinct was correct when he could smell the unusual bitter scents coming from Seokjin from the past few weeks. The disgrace omega acted as if trying to outsmart his capabilities by planning to run away from him. Seokjin even discarded the omega tracker that he put on the younger's body by force, ignoring the future effect signaling that he was very adamant with his decision but Kim Jaewon is not stupid, he has too many eyes, too many mouths, too many sources out there that he could know about his son's plan in a click of finger, easy peasy.

Namjoon and Jimin stared at each other in confusion after both of them heard about Jaewon's accusation. Seokjin wasn't with their dad. Their younger brother wasn't with Kim Jaewon at the moment, that was why their father was here. Coming at them in rage and hurries, wanted to take Seokjin away from them. Stupidly assuming that Seokjin was here.

but where is Seokjin now?

"What do you mean dad, where is m-"

"He's gone."

Jimin cut Namjoon's panicking question with lie. He clasped his hand on Namjoon's thick arms, pinching it slightly asking to let him handle the situation. His husband was confused with the action. he mouthed him why, wondering what was his husband trying to do now. Eyes flickering in perplexity but he obeyed, mouth quietened down in an instant.

"Where?!"

Kim Jaewon demanded, now with more anger and annoyance. Of course, his stupid son in law would know about it. 

"None of your business, he's gone far that no one can reach him. Whatever bullshit you're trying to do towards us wouldn't give you the answer about where he is because we don't know, so don't try to threaten me or my husband for this because we are not afraid of you."

Jimin was surely quivering while replying to the older in such rude attitude, but rudeness should be responded with rudeness too. He could feel his voice in tremor, he had to hold his husband tighter hoping for some support from the alpha. 

Kim Jaewon scoffed fiercely. His enrage alpha pheromones now riling up the whole house, cramping Jimin's nose in disgust. He had to cover his nose as the pungent scents made his whole body weak and not functioning. The uncomfortable scent now masked by a familiar smell, soothing and lulling one coming from his mate who emitted the scent automatically in response to the omega's distressed feeling.

"You are rude just like the trash, Park Jimin. I shouldn't have allowed a disgusting whore like you to marry my son"

"ALPHA!"

It's Namjoon. Shouting mad with the dirty insults that had just coming from his father, making Kim Jaewon slightly flinched with loud alpha roar. It's rare for his calm and rational eldest son to act rashly like that but of course there would always be time for an exception. 

"You dared to talk like that to my mate and Seokjin? did you forget that I am here alpha? Did you forget that you are now in my territory? Fuck you. Get out from my house!!!"

Namjoon's eyes now changed to merlot red indicating that the older alpha's action had pushed him to his limits. His father had clearly broke the barriers by disrespecting both of his beloved omegas right in front of his face. Fuck off with tradition, fuck off with courtesy. No one is allowed to disregard them, not even his own father.

The now affected older alpha twitching in his stillness. His own currant red eyes widened in shock. How dare his son even dared to rise his voice towards him.

"Kim Namjoon, what..I am your dad?!"

"GET THE FUCK OUT KIM JAEWON!"
