"Seok~ah.."

He tried to call the anxious omega. Wanted to calm him down from the shocking news.
Hoseok's eyes blurring from the falling tears, masking his worries in unsuspecting hopes and expectations.

Of course, what would he expect when their match is Jeon Jungkook, the pure breed from the most dangerous and mightiest alpha clan in their wolves' world. But was it wrong for Hoseok to keep being hopeful? Was it wrong for his heart to feel pity towards the unknown omega? Was it wrong for him to keep wanting to help the omega so that the past incident would never be repeated again?

"No Seokie, you're not wrong. I'm the one who failed to react faster. The kids I ordered made mistakes. I'm sorry"

Hoseok didn't realize he voiced his heart out towards the Min alpha in front of him. The older was sitting still, hands bracing on the omega's shrunken shoulder wanting to calm the omega down after they were informed by Yoongi's followers that they missed the omega.

"So it's real then? Jungkook got him?"

Hoseok stared at Yoongi in silence hopes and millions of questions. Part of his heart wanted to deny the fact. Please someone or somebody instead of Jeon Jungkook, please save the omega.

Please just anyone but him.

Part of his heart too wanted to blame somebody but he knew it wasn't worth it. This is not the time for pointing fingers towards anyone.

"Don't be sorry hyung. This is possible."

Hoseok sighed in despair. Tired from having too much expectations.

"I should've known it from the beginning. I should've expected this. I shouldn't be too greedy but it's just...just, maybe it's my omega who purely feel bad towards the person. I mean what if the past incident happen again, what if th- the black card is used? Oh no-"

Hoseok's voice hoarse. His words hanging. His mind flashing through the incident from the past few years, the memories were playing fresh in his mind. Stabbing his thoughts over and over again. The pain never stops, the scars were still with them. Real and clear as the proofs that the situation did happen.

It did break them apart, it did haunt their minds.

His hands shaking hard. Trembling with the sudden fears and anxieties.

Yoongi patted the shaking hands softly. Strong. Assuring. Knowing that this situation would affect Hoseok badly. It's a huge lie if he said he wasn't affected as well. The scene was too similar. Too real to be ignored at.

"Shh, stop.. don't think about it. We will help the omega. If my Plan A fail, I will try thousands, no millions of ways to help him. I will execute infinite plans to fail Jungkook. We cannot give up Seok~ah. We are not sure if Jungkook really got him now. Don't lose hope Seok"

Hope.

Hope is what Hoseok had been implanted in his mind ever since he witnessed the scene right in front of his eyes years ago. Hope is what he had been chanting for life or he might go insane by just breathing through the memories. Hope is his only spirit and right now hope is the last spell he could only whisper towards the omega by the distance they have, even though he did question himself countless times

Does hope even exist in the world beyond Jeon Jungkook?

Jimin walking back and forth inside Namjoon's office, waiting eagerly for his husband to come back. It's been two months since Seokjin had been missing from the airport and two months since no one knew where was he. Jimin was sure his younger brother wasn't with his father in law since Kim Sungwon never once stop disrupting them to know about the omega's whereabouts but Seokjin did not contact him for any other information too and that worried him much.

You promised me, Jinnie. Where are you baby..you promised to call me

Jimin's thought was interrupted when his alpha husband came to the office, barging through the wooden door in haste. Namjoon's face creased with mixed emotions, making Jimin worried more.

"What happened, Joon. Why? What's with the rush, where is our Jinnie?"

"Wait...look what I got baby. Let's sit down and open it"

Ignoring his bombarded questions, Namjoon handed him an envelope that he had been holding on. The suspicious white envelope with unknown sender that he had found in his office's postal box made his heart spiked.

Jimin took the letter with curiosity and anxiousness. He didn't realise how badly shaking his hand was when receiving the sealed white paper, wondering what was inside.

He eyed Namjoon is thousands of assurances hoping for some strength, if only this new delivered content was from someone they have been waiting for. The firm nods and slight whisper was barely heard, blaming it at how loud Jimin's heart was thrumming instead.

He stared at the envelope long before both of them could confirm it. Once they pulled the content out, Jimin couldn't help but bringing the paper towards his embrace. Hugging it tight. Bracing it as if he didn't want it gone. He didn'tsn't realise the fat tears raining through his cheeks. Clouding his eyes in chunks of solace and thankfulness.

Namjoon hugged him in both reliefs and ease. This is what they have been waiting for. This is the confirmation that they needed, at least to reassure them. Namjoon knew this is an answer that both of them, especially Jimin needed to put away the strong guilts that he had after the airport incident.

"Jiminie, this is it. You're okay baby. You're good. Don't blame yourself anymore. We love you. He loves you."

Namjoon rocking the smaller body slow, hearing the loud cries from his husband now somehow eased him more because finally he knew, it's a good cry from Jimin. Days and nights Jimin had been blaming himself for not saving Seokjin. Throughout the passing time, his husband couldn't stop from crying in despair and guilts for leaving their brother alone.

Now, it's an assurance. Life will be better after this, ain't it?

Jimin mushed his face more in Namjoon's firm chest. Feeling his worrying hormone getting calmer being hugged by his understanding husband. The envelope in his grip was now stained with his happy tears. Grateful that they finally got the closure for now.

Jimin didn't realise he gripped the letter harder. Afraid it would disappear if only his grip was loosening.

The envelope contained their life saviour.
The envelope contained their unending hope.
The envelope contained their wishful loves and cares.

The envelope had a letter in it.

"Joonie it's... it's really our Seokjin right?"

Jimin whispered. Face brightening. Wide smiles carving in his small, purely white face. The batted breath he let out was finally filled with happiness and joy.

The envelope had a letter.

The envelope was full with Seokjin's sweet omega smell.

The envelope ended with simple but reassuring words from their beloved Seokjin.

... Namjoonie and Jiminie hyung, thank you.

I'M FINALLY FREE!

I'm all safe and sound here. I'm so happy with the new life I have.

I miss you

I love you

From your one and only baby munchkin,

Seokjinie
