"Did he eat the food?"

Jungkook asked the beta woman after she's out from Seokjin's room, well technically Jungkook's room but the question was answered with the simple head shakes from the middle aged assistant. Signalling Jungkook with the repeated 'no' over and over again.

"How many days was it, Heeyeon nana?

"It's been 5 days Master Jeon. As what I've been reporting to you when you were away, everyday I've tried to persuade him but he insisted to not eating. I'm afraid his health would be worsening again."

The beta explained to the alpha in pure honesty and details. Ever since Seokjin was brought to his master's house, in a weak and worrying condition, Heeyeon was the one who was assigned to fully take care of the poor unknown omega.

From the first day, she had various questions all over his head wondering who exactly the omega was and why for the first time after years, Jungkook bringing someone back to his home.

Home that is too personal for the alpha. Home that the pure breed had restricted for anyone else to come in.

Heeyeon could see the mixed emotions in Jungkook's reaction after listening to her answer. The young alpha could mask his face with stiff expressions or boring responses yet Heeyeon could read him better than anyone else.

Thanks to her services to babysit and taking care of the alpha since he was born. That was why Jungkook couldn't lie to Heeyeon or he could easily be exposed by the attentive beta. The unbothered look on the alpha's face couldn't hide his hesitant steps to walk to the room where Seokjin was.

It's his room

What's stopping him though?

"Don't you want to see him? You just come back after a while. Seokjin must have been wanted to meet his alph-"

"Nana no"

Jungkook stopped her. He didn't have to listen to the next word uttered by the older woman. Everyone didn't have to shove it towards his face that Seokjin is his omega. It's always Taehyung throughout all the time he was with him and now Heeyeon had to remind him with the same thing.

"I'm sorry Kook~ah, it slipped out from my mouth"

Heeyon clipped his mouth shut, preventing the naughty smile from being caught by the rigid alpha. After putting away Seokjin's uneaten dishes in the fridge, Heeyeon served the tired looking face alpha with his favourite black coffee.

"How's your health now by the way?"

"Much better. Doctor Choi really gave me the best medicine. It doesn't matter though as long as it's not affecting my daily work. I have so much things to deal with rather than suffering with this nonsense pain"

It's been two months since he had to deal with the newly addition to his life but Jungkook had to remain as the old him. He might have to consume more pills or scent blockers to deal with the situation but one stubborn Jungkook resisted.

Seokjin might be a new addition to his world, but his presence did not change a single thing towards Jungkook's life. Jeon Jungkook hated changes and no one could change it.

Not even the omega.

"You still think this is old and conservative matter? It is that nonsense to you? Even when the omega and you yourself can feel the pulling strings between both of you? Don't you feel a bit of emotions or feelings towards Seokjin?"

Jungkook knew the question would come to him in a matter of time. If it's not from Taehyung, Heeyeon would eventually ask him the question towards him, either ways no matter from who did it come from, Jungkook already had one answer.

And his answer would always be no.

No.

No way.

Never.

He doesn't have any feeling towards omega. He would never have. Be it towards Kim Seokjin or any omegas out there.

That's it.

Period.

The silence from the alpha made Heeyeon stopped. She realised she might have crossed her boundaries by asking the younger the uncomfortable question but she had lived years more than the pure breed to realise it sooner than Jungkook ever knew.

Even at the slightest look, Heeyeon knew Jungkook acted different compared to the past him. Perhaps Seokjin's presence might have affected the alpha in some ways.

Perhaps the omega could bring some light in the alpha's dull life.

Perhaps the alpha just didn't realise it himself.

Heeyeon took the already finished coffee cup from the table, seeing there was no way their conversation would keep going anymore, but not before she voiced out what she felt. All brave and firm.

"Let me just clean this all up. I would let you rest and refresh yourself now. Sorry for my rudeness Master Jeon. Somehow this will always be slipped out my mouth again but if you'd allow this old woman to say one more thing, don't drown yourself with the past Jungkookie, appreciate what's in front of you now because the past won't come back to you but you can create a better future with your present. Now excuse me Master Jeon"

Heeyeon was all ready to walk out from the dining area before Jungkook gave her one last reminder for the night.

Totally ignoring her last words.

"If the omega refused to keep eating, just give him his vitamin or the medicines. I don't care how you did it, be it by his willingness or by force. Just make sure he won't get sick again."

Jungkook got up from his seat, shoulder slumping down. Unknowingly letting out a long sigh from his mouth. Too many distractions in his mind now.

He paused his steps in front of Heeyeon. Deliberating to voice out some words. Eyes searching for some sort of understanding from his close assistant. Heeyeon knew him. Heeyeon read him better than anybody else.

"One more thing Heeyeon nana. Since you know me well enough you would have known better than anyone else how much I despised omegas and nobody could change that for me. Not any omegas and not even Seokjin.

Yes. You probably miss him. You might want him back but the old Jungkook was dead nana. You witnessed it. He was dead years ago and he won't be coming back. Ever.

Out of my biggest respect for you, I would love it if you stop questioning me with such matter. Thank you for the advice though. I appreciate it. You may go now."
