Limang buwan na mula nang maging ganto sya sakin, at akala ko kakayanin ko, na masasanay ako eventually pero hindi. Hindi ko pala kaya! Dahil gaga ako, I still miss him so bad that I want him to always be with me, but it's like Tom Cruise's movie "Mission Impossible."
Monday morning, still no text from him and there are lot of things running in my mind right now. Can you blame me?
Beep! Beep! Uh I got a message! So I picked up my phone, I got so excited and seen that it came from Patrick, I'm like smiling from ear to ear. As I opened the text, I got confused by the message that it almost made me dropped my phone:
From: Patrick
"Can you please stop texting my BOYFRIEND? You've been bugging us!"
Ano? Boyfriend nino? Anong problema nya?
From: Amber
"Huh? Boyfriend? What do you mean babe?"
I was shaking, maybe the day that I fear the most has already come but I hope not, I'm just over thinking and too paranoid. After 5 minutes my phone rang, and I am thinking about picking it up or not.
"Hu-hello? Patrick?" I asked, crossing my fingers hoping that the text didn't came from him.
"Nope! But it's Maggie, Patrick's girlfriend. Who are you by the way? And why the hell do you keep on texting him?!" said the girl on the other line.
"Wait I'm confused. You are Patrick's girlfriend? This is a bad joke, its not funny! Where is he?! I need to talk to him!" tears are now running on my cheeks, I'm really nervous about this girl.
"No way I would let you speak to him! Teka, ikaw yata yung kinukwento nya sa akin ah, yung ex-girlfriend nya nung highschool who cant get over him? Well Im sor...."
Naputol yung linya. Naguguluhan ako sa nangyayari, could it be? Did he really cheated on me? But why?
Nagring ulit yung phone ko, still Patrick's and I am thinking if I should pick it up or not.
The man from the other line spoke up, "Amber? Amber Im sorry. I'm sorry hindi ko napigilan, si Mag...."
Hindi ko na sya pinatapos. The fact that he called me back to say Im sorry is already enough for me to know na totoo nga ang sinasabi ng impaktang yun.
"Fuck you! Mamatay ka na sana mamaya! Masagasaan ka sana ng truck pag labas mo ng school, sama mo na yang bitch mo hayop!" then I hanged up and i was left weeping.
