"Wake up," Lys murmured, making Luke jump up and snarl, positioning himself over Tan's sleeping form. "Easy, your mate's dad is right over there."
Luke glanced over and saw a man that looked strangely like Tan, except while Tan's hair was a sandy blond color, the man's was dark brown, almost black. He nudged Tan and yipped in his ear, making Tan leap up, looking around for danger.
When Tan saw Lys' legs, he snarled before realizing it was his friend.
"Not you too," Lys groaned, turning around toward the other half of the field where Tali was in her wolf form, playing with Oliver and Alex. "Your dad is here, Tan, and he wants to chat with both of you. I'm just relaying the message and now I'm going to spend time with my wife and sons, so have a great day."
Tan sat up and saw his father, bounding over to him in his wolf form, Luke following shyly.
"Do you have a change of clothes?" Quinton asked as Tan rubbed his face on his father's leg. "Because I love you, but I do not wish to see my son running naked around the pack."
"No, we don't have clothes," Tan mind linked, sitting next to Luke and bringing Quinton's attention to him for the first time.
"This must be your mate," Quinton said, giving Luke a pleased look. "We're having brunch, so you two go to my house and change while I make breakfast. Okay, pup?"
Tan wagged his tail and pulled on Luke's ear, getting his mate to follow. They ran together to Quinton's house, Tan pushing the door open and leading Luke to his childhood room. His scent was very prominent in the room, so Luke leapt on the bed, still in his wolf form, and began to roll on it so their scents mixed together.
Shifting back, Tan tried to grab his shirt and a pair of pajama pants because that was all he liked to wear when he was home, but he never got the chance. A long arm wound around his waist and pulled him until he was collapsing onto Luke's naked form, his mate laying back on the bed.
"Luke! My dad could walk in at any moment!" Tan gasped as Luke flipped his mate onto his back and towered over him.
"He's pretty intuitive, I think we'll be fine," Luke purred, kissing Tan's fiercely. "I can't kiss you in wolf form."
Tan panted as they pulled apart. "We're naked... it feels a little bit more than kissing," he said as Luke smirked and rubbed their hips together, making Tan gasp. "Luke, stop, we need to talk about this first!"
"Talk about what?" Luke asked, licking and biting along Tan's neck and collar bones.
"You," Tan said, making Luke freeze and climb off of him. "I know about what happened to you now and we need to talk about your limits. I don't want to bring back any bad memories."
Luke sighed and got out of the bed, going over to the closet and taking some of Tan's old clothes. Since he was taller, the sweats went up to his ankles.
"Shouldn't I wear something a little nicer to meet your father?" he asked, looking down at the stained sweats and shabby T-shirt.
"Yeah, I have a suit in the back of the closet," Tan responded, sighing when Luke actually started to look. "Luke, I was joking. I don't have a suit in there. My dad doesn't care how you're dressed, as long as I lo-, uh, like you and all that."
Luke huffed. "So, no suit in the closet?"
"The only thing that lived in that closet was me," Tan grumbled, before grabbing Luke's hand. "Come on, my dad is a great cook. Like, one of the best in the pack. He helped to teach Lys."
Luke raised an eyebrow, pinning Tan to the wall before they could leave. He kissed his mate and plunged his tongue inside of Tan's mouth, making him moan into it.
