Tw: Strangulation, nightmare, death, death threats, shorthand texting, emojis, uncensored cursing

Today was exhausting to say the least. Anytime Inkinhi didn't get her way, her immediate reaction was to yell. And my parents never said a thing. They just did as she demanded. My mom was going to make dinner, but my sister didn't want what she had to make, so my father had to order her food from elsewhere. Mom never lets me eat in my room, but Inkinhi was allowed to do so in the guest room.

While in her bedroom, my sister continued to scream, but at her friends, whom she was on a video call with the entire day. I don't understand how they put up with her. At one point, I had half a mind to tell her to shut up. But I restrained myself. I found great interest in living long enough to become the Number 1 hero like I promised many people I'd do.

By this point, I could feel a nasty headache developing. The only thing I could do was stay in my room and hope she didn't barge in or set the apartment on fire. There I made sure to text the group chat again before Kacchan showed up at our doorstep.

And that was another thing. My sister only talked to me once this entire time and it was to ask me how Kacchan was doing. I kept it vague. I didn't mention Kirishima. When I started babbling on about how much he'd grown and how me and him were getting along better, she turned heel and walked out of the conversation. She seemed angry, probably at the fact that Kacchan and I were getting along and were official rivals. Or maybe she thought we had forgotten about her, which wouldn't be entirely wrong. For awhile... I forgot she even existed, and I'm sure it was the same for Kacchan.

It was getting late. Kacchan was more than likely asleep by now. Inkinhi had thankfully grown quieter, but she was still heard, so I knew she wasn't asleep. My parents, on the other hand, were asleep. My dad was suffering from jet lag, so he hit the hay about an hour ago. My mom followed suit just a few minutes ago. I decided it would be in my best interest to sleep as well.

I waited until the class group chat finished saying their goodnights to each other before changing into my pajamas and slipping into my bed. The only light in my room came from under the door, and it was dim. I let the darkness take over my vision as my eyes slowly drooped shut. Exhaustion overrode my insomnia and I succumbed to the images playing behind my eyelids.

I was standing in the middle of a city. This city... looked familiar, but I couldn't be too sure. It was badly damaged and the sky was dark. It was hard to see anything, really. I was able to look around, but I could not move. The buildings around me had crumbled. There were seemingly no signs of life.

I was wrong. Looking straight ahead, I saw something incredibly horrifying. My predecessor, All-Might, the previous holder of my power, being squashed under the foot of my power's sworn enemy, All-For-One. The nearly faceless figure stared down at the man with a taunting smile. But something about this was wrong...

When I realized what was wrong, I gasped reflexively. This, much to my dismay, alerted All-For-One. I noticed his head move, and despite a lack of eyes, he seemed to gaze into my soul. A demonic smile grew across his face as he kicked aside my dead predecessor and began to approach me. I tried moving, but I was stuck.

"Izuku Midoriya," his horrible, goosebump-inducing voice echoed through the decimated buildings of Kamino Ward. "The current holder of One-For-All."

I couldn't speak. I felt paralyzed with intense fear. It felt like an eternity before All-For-One was standing less than five feet from me. He looked down at me with a malicious grin. He likely found my terror amusing. He certainly seemed like the type of person who would find humor in my despair.
