Y/N's POV
I wake up at my normal time, 6:25 (I know that's early but just deal with it) and get dressed in my running outfit. I put on a quick glamour charm to hide my scars.

Lupin thankfully didn't wake up while I was changing. (That happened to me with my guy friend. We don't talk anymore (:. Back to it then) I carefully walk down the stairs, trying not to wake my parents or any of the doofuses.

I got down stairs and let out I breath i didn't know i was holding.

"Why do you sound so relieved? Are you sneaking out? Wait it's to early to be sneaking out..." A voice spoke from the kitchen.

I nearly jumped all the way back up the stairs.

"Sirius!" I whisper scream, "you almost gave me a heart attack! And for the record I'm going on a run, Wanna join?" I ask.

He responds, "I mean, sure! Why not?"

"Great I'll just be outside stretching while you go change." And with that I walk outside and start my routine.

Sirius comes out a few minutes later dressed in a T-shirt and sweatpants.

"Ready?" He asked.

"Nope, you got to stretch first if you wanna make it all the way." I responded.

I show him what I do and he copied.

"Ok now your ready, let's go."

We start jogging and Sirius is behind me.

"Can't keep up?" I ask playfully.

He starts full on sprinting towards me, and I feel my wolffish instincts kick in.

We start racing with me still in front.

A few minutes later he taps out and hunches over trying to catch his breath.

"How are you so damn fast?! And not  winded at all?!" He asks still panting.

"I-um practice I guess. Wanna head back? The others will be up by now." I ask hoping he believes my lie.

"Sure! Last one there has to let the other prank them!" He has to much damn confidence.

We run back, me easily winning. "So Sirius, now I get to prank you!" I say in victory.

"Yeah yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why your so fast! On that note imma go shower." He walks off.

I guess I'll go shower to. I walk in and surprisingly no ones up. I look at the clock, 8:30 it reads.

I take a quick shower, and head down for breakfast. Mum is already down and I watch as dad floos (?) away.

Sirius comes down next followed by James, Remus, and Peter.

We all sit down at the table.

"(Y/N), don't you have to take medicine this week?" Mum asks.

Shit. I almost forgot that, you see I have to take the draught one week prior the full moon.

"Oh yeah, be right back." I run upstairs to my bedroom to find the drought.

I dig under my bed and pull out a jug with a goblet attached to it.

I pour some of the vile liquid into the goblet and down it.

I put the jug and goblet back quickly and run back downstairs.

All of us eat while making small talk.

After a delicious breakfast, we sit in the living room still talking.

"Hey, you guys know what could be fun? How about we have a race? See who's fastest!" Sirius questions.

"Sure why not?" Says James

"Okay!" Remus nods agreeing

"I'm always down for a good race!" I say enthusiastic

"I'll be the one at the finish line just in case it's neck and neck." Peter says nervously.

The rest of us have an unspoken agreement, whoever wins is officially the best of the best.

We huddle outside and decide that we'll go to a big tree and turn around and go back.

"Alright guys! On my marks! Get set! GO!" Peter yells from the side line.

I start jogging, knowing James and Sirius are going to bolt ahead, get tired, and start to go slower.

My jogging is fast apparently.

Me, Sirius, and Remus make it to the tree together with James making it ten seconds after.

I bolt back, easily passing Sirius, and now tied with Remus.

Up ahead I spot a rabbit hoping towards the finish line and my instincts kick in once more.

I'm going faster than ever, passing Remus and crossing the finish line.

Remus comes next, followed by Sirius, and then James the sloth 🦥.

"Wow... (Y/N)... never knew... could run... fast..." James says while panting.

"Yep! I've had some practice." I say not winded at all.

"See... I told you she was fast! Prongs said that you would come in last!" Sirius said. 

"You've underestimated my power!" I say in a weird deep voice. "Muggle movie reference." I add when I see the dark haired boys confused faces.

"Well I am gonna go finish the book I've been wanting to read, see ya later!" I yell while running back to the house.

Hehe... I'm back after a month, if anyone is reading this just know that it'll probably be another month until I find the time to write. My mental health and online school is my top priority at the moment. On another note, to the wonderful people who stumbled upon this fanfic, cya in the next update!
