Strawberries and Cigarettes (Camren AU)

Chapter XII

"Lauren, I think I left my phone in your-Nuh uh woman!" Camila exclaimed as she saw Lauren with a cigarette in between her lips. Camila quickly grabbed the stick and threw it to the ground before stepping on it.

"Camz!" Lauren said in disbelief.

"I wasn't near-Ow!" Lauren exclaimed as Camila flicked the older ones forehead.

"Ok, fine. I'm sorry." Lauren frowned as Camila looked at her with crossed arms. The younger one had a lollipop stick in between her lips. Camila gently took the candy out her mouth before shoving it into Lauren's.

"There. Stick in between your lips." Camila glared.

"Strawberry?" Lauren questioned as she took the candy out her mouth. Camila nodded.

"There's no other flavor. Deal with it." Camila said as she looked for Lauren's car keys on the older one's leather jacket.

"Here." Lauren said with the candy between her lips. She handed out her car keys, Camila smiled at the sight. Lauren took out the candy from her mouth and asked.

"What?" Camila shook her head and stepped on her tiptoes to peck Lauren's lips.

"Thank you Baby." Camila smiled.

"Camz! Warnings please!" Lauren exclaimed as she clutched her chest.

"Dork." Camila chuckled as she opened Lauren's car and started looking for her phone.

"Can I get another kiss?" Lauren said as she turned her puppy eyes on.

"Depends." Camila chuckled, still not looking at Lauren.

"On?" Lauren asked, willing to do anything.

"If you minimize your cigarette breaks then yes." Camila winked, Lauren had gotten back to her usual habit after being too stressed about the program she was developing. Camila had been patient with the raven.

"But-Ok fine. I will try, I've done it before and I will do it again!" Lauren said determined. The older one rested her hand on the car's top as she observed Camila who was by the back seat, looking for her phone.

"Come here." Camila said as Lauren leaned in to see her. As soon as she reached Camila's sight, the younger one took the lollipop out of Lauren's lips before placing her free hand on the back of Lauren's neck and pulling her in for a quick passionate kiss. Camila pulled away and placed the candy in between Lauren's lips again. Lauren stood there blushing red.

"Mhm. Strawberry and cigarette." Camila joked as she bit her lip.

"I would've gone longer if it was just strawberry." Camila winked, as she leaned in to kiss Lauren's cheek before opening the car door, jumping out and walking away.

"I will make sure you do!" Lauren yelled from a distance. Camila laughed as she entered the Mart.

"Stop tempting me." Lauren glared at the cigarette that was now on the ground. Lauren sighed as she ran her fingers on her hair, she was disappointed in herself, both in her studies and being the girlfriend she promised to be. She knew how patient Camila is with her, and she feels guilty. A few more days left and Lauren will finally graduate, but her software continued to run with different problems.

"You ok?" Normani appeared out of nowhere.

"Mani." Lauren smiled as she continued to furiously suck on the lollipop Camila gave her. The two had been closer since Normani found out that Lauren had been attending Summer Classes as well.

"Seems to me that you're stressed out." Normani said as she leaned in on Lauren's car.

"I feel like a huge disappointment." Lauren mumbled as she looked down.
