Robin had his back to the road, examining the steadily burning fire with a stick he'd picked up next to the tents. He prodded the fire wood mindlessly, thinking of what he always does: Regina.

His thoughts became reality as she approached, obviously trying to conceal a smile that slightly lifted the corners of her mouth. Robin didn't even try. His smile burst across his face when he stood up straight and began to walk over to her.

As they neared each other, they both spoke at the same time. Regina laughed and looked at the ground, fighting her every fibre not to launch forward and kiss him. "Ladies first," said Robin, bending his knees slightly and placing his thumb under her chin. She caught his gaze and laughed again. Whenever she was around him she felt giddy, unable to control the huge smile that always crept up her cheeks.

"The charming's have asked us round to dinner," the words fell from her lips in a nervous hurry and she looked towards the forest. "You don't have to, I just-" Robin laughed, making her look back to him curiously.

"I'd love to go." He chuckled lightly to himself, grazing his knuckles across her cheek and pushing a lose piece of hair behind her ear. He sighed, shaking his head lightly, in awe of her.

"What?" She asked, lifting an eyebrow quizzically.

"I always forget how beautiful you are." Robin slid his hands around Regina's waist, pulling her closer until their noses were almost touching. She draped her arms around his neck, looking into his bright blue eyes, blushing slightly. Robin bent his head down and softly covered her lips with his. He brought his hand up, caressing her cheek, keeping one hand on the small of her back making sure no space could come between them. She kissed him back, moving her hands to the back of his head and running her fingers through his hair. Regina pulled away, a weightless feeling in her chest that appeared whenever they were close.

"Dinner's at 7, wear something nice." She said before sliding her arms down his shirt and squeezing his hand. She turned away, looking back over her shoulder to see Robin grinning and shaking his head. Her essence flooded his veins like a drug. He could never stop thinking about the slight indent of her cheeks when she smiled, or the way her lips curved when she spoke. He was in love with her, plain and simple. And he had absolutely nothing to wear.
