"Something good happen?" You snap out of your daydream as you look up from your breakfast to stare blankly at your mother. You give a small "huh?" not really listening to what she said. She gives you a look, not one out of anger but just slightly surprised.

"I...I'm sorry mum..." You say quickly, "I guess my minds not all here, what were you saying..?"

"No worries." You mother smiles at you and chuckles. "I can see that you've got other things on your mind, the sighing gives it away too." She winks at you and glances over to the mirror where you see the blonde hair and golden eyes staring back at you in the reflection. "Your quirk is showing."

She takes her plates to the sink and asks you to wash them as she heads off to work. You agree and look at the time, you've been staring at your breakfast all morning thinking of...NO! No...none of that! You slap your hands on your cheeks, hard, snapping yourself out of it before drifting off into another daydream, you scoff down your luke-warm breakfast, clean up and get ready for the day.

After your daily chores, the front door chimes and your things arrive. You take a while bringing everything inside box by box but you get it done. After signing the forms, you begin to unpack your things. You keep yourself busy with all the unpacking you force yourself to do now, changing out your old desk and filling your old bookshelf with your things. It was starting to feel like your room and not some little girls room from years ago. It was a little sad thinking of yourself that way. It was as if you were discarding a small part of yourself, a memory that you couldn't quite understand fully to keep but couldn't bare letting go of it either. Strange.

As the morning turned to the afternoon, you were finally done. All your boxes were emptied and your desk and shelves full of your fond memories of England, photographs of you and your friends on summer trips together. On your wardrobe, your new school uniform ironed and hung up ready for use and your backpack filled with the essential items. Yup, everything's ready for Monday.

You check your phone as it blinks showing messages from your friends from England. They must have woken up by now. You look through all the messages and reply to them. Before they start classes they ask for you to quickly call so you can show them your house. You give them a brief tour of the place thinking nothing much of it..."it's a house how much fun can you get from this?" you laugh, flopping onto your bed as you complete the tour. Your friends laugh and you continue to talk to them until you hear the familiar sound of the school bell ringing in the background.

Your phone blips. From Birdie

"Gotta go now!" You hear Alex say in the background. "Bye!" Everyone exits the call and you're laying on your bed ready to reply to Hawks when you get another message from Sarah.

Noticed you sighing a lot...you've met someone? ;) - Sarah

Childhood friend. Not seen him in years so it's nice having a friend instead of being alone here in Japan. - You type back.

I see...trying not to jinx it huh? ;) - Sarah

It's not like that!

Sure it isn't ;) Talk to you later, getting a bollocking from Mr Brown for being on my phone - Sarah.

Laughing at the last message you stare at her previous message. Jinx it...it's not like that...it's not...is it? Suddenly your phone vibrates violently in your hand causing you to jump, juggling your phone, nearly dropping it, you answer. "Hello?"

Nothing. You can hear breathing from the other side of the phone but the voice didn't say anything. Their breathing started to quicken as you say again, "Hello? Whose this?" Checking the number, you don't recognise it. Before you can ask another time, the call shuts off. How odd...You hear the doorbell ring. It was far too late for mail. Maybe mum left her keys?
