"It's the ocean!" You exclaim loudly, listening as your own voice is drowned out by the crashing of the waves, the cries of the seagulls and the bustle of the tourists clambering onto the golden sandy beaches, made you feel like a small fish in the sea of people.

It seems that Bubs and her significant other unapologetically disppeared to do their own couple's activites which left you alone with Hawks. Contrary to belief, you wanted nothing more but to spend time with Birdie, if it wasn't for the fact that all your tickets for the inclusive festivities were taken by Bubs. Taking a deep breath in you smell the wonderful salt air. The skies, completely crystal clear.

"Hey, Sum-sum!" You hear him call behind you. "I got us ice cream."

"Oh!" You chirp surprised, taking the ice cream from his hands, the heat melting a little of it onto your fingers, you quickly lap it up before it causes a mess. Although you try to eat the ice cream as quickly as humanly possible without getting a brainfreeze, you're still able to thank him.

"Still too hot!" Hawks whines, lifting his wings to shade the two of you from the sun. Even in the heat, he cuddles up to you, the scent of his sweat making you blush being so conscious of how close he was to you.

"Bubs was nice enough to let us tag along for a week, we shouldn't be whining how hot it is." You say, wiping the beads of sweat from your face you reach into your bag and pull out a bottle of water. Although it is a little luke warm from carrying it in your bag all day, you take a sip and pass it over to Hawks, who you see fanning himself with one of his wings.

"Though they did run off with the passes...leaving us in the scorching heat..." You admit, slowly leaning over to get a little breeze from Hawks fanning. Hawks leans into your touch, using one wing to shelter you from the sun's rays and the other to fan. As he reaches over to grab the water bottle, he kisses your forehead and thanks you for the water.

"Blah- it's warm..." He grimaces childishly. You laugh at the face he's pulling before he nudges you to quit it, a little embarrassed. You give a little peck on his cheek and tell him that it was cute before taking the water back to finish it. His features more prominent with sun kissed skin, the beads of sweat tickling down the side of his jawline, across his collar bone and disppearing behind the loose fit of his tank top. You catch him staring at you staring at him, his head resting on his hand propped up on his knee.

"What?" You say bashfully, tearing your eyes away from his physique.

"Oh, nothing." He says. "Just thinking of our indirect kiss."

You choke a little on your water, nudging him with you shoulder. You laugh and joke about how long you two have been together for, before trying to steer the topic in a different direction.

Smiling at his bashful Summer, Hawks watches as their hair turns a soft pink. It was just so easy to tell what they were thinking with such a useful quirk as communicative as theirs, that it was just too tempting not to tease them. Smittened, Hawks wraps his wing around them, pulling them into a passionate kiss, his wings hiding them from the public eye. Their skin soft to the touch, their hot breath breathing on his skin making him shiver with such excitement that he deepens the kiss.

Your eyes flutter open as you feel the blood rushing to your face. His lips release yours but his wings hold you in place, inches a part from each other's face. The sun beams hitting his glossy skin, as his golden eyes glow piercingly into your mind.

"You're cute when you're flustered." He smirks tauntingly. You push him away, your whole body bubbling and boiling from embarrassment.

"You can't just- we're in public!" You hiss, grabbing your bag and slinging it over your shoulder, dusting the sand particles from your clothes. A light warm breeze draping your hair over your eyes, a red hue matching the blush on your face.
