Chapter 8: Buckbeak

Natalie decided to get up early and head down to see Hagrid and some of his Creatures.
"Hiya Natalie" Hagrid says.
"Hey Hagrid" Natalie says .
"And hello to you to" Natalie says picking up one of the Nifflers.
"Another rough night" Hagrid asked.
"You could say that" Natalie said petting the Niffler.
Natalie only recently started to help Hagrid with the Creatures to distract herself from her emotions.
Natalie was also able to get close to Buckbeak.
"Hiya buddy" Natalie said throwing Buckbeak some meat.
Natalie liked just placing her head near Buckbeak and just relax.
"He's taken a shine to you lass" Hagrid says.
"I know it's crazy" Natalie says with a smile.
Hagrid started to look sad.
"Hagrid..what's up" Natalie said looking at Hagrid.
"Buckbeak may not be with us much longer" Hagrid says.
"What..why...is it because of that class" Natalie asked, Hagrid just nodded.
"It wasn't his fault...he felt he was getting threatened" Natalie said hugging Buckbeak.
"I know lass but I can't change the rules" Hagrid says.
"Did Draco make it happen" Natalie asked.
"As I'm aware of no but most likely his parents would of been informed" Hagrid says walking to the other creatures.
"Your a good boy" Natalie says holding onto Buckbeak.

Natalie wasn't told that today was the day however, Hagrid couldn't bare to say it.
"Hey Nat" Ron, Harry and Hermione said.
"Oh hey you two" Natalie said.
Natalie didn't go into the hut with the others, she just wanted to spend as much time as she could with Buckbeak.
"Natalie" Dumbledore said while walking to the hut, "sir and...minister" Natalie said confused.
Natalie looked over to see a man with what she could tell was a weapon.
"Not now" Natalie Said.
"I'm afraid so..and you shouldn't even be around him" Dumbledore said looking at Hagrid.
"He didn't know I was here sir...I sometimes go here to see some of the creatures" Natalie says.
"You know that's not allowed without a Professors permission" Dumbledore mentioned.
"I-i know" Natalie said.
Natalie looked over to see Harry run of with Ron and Hermione.
"You can't sir please it wasn't his fault" Natalie pleaded.
"Young lady it is too risky" The minister says.
"Oh but dementors aren't" Natalie said but automatically covered her mouth.
"Sorry...I" Natalie says looking back at Buckbeak.
"I understand you are upset but we have no other choice" The minister says.
"Katie just the girl" Dumbledore shouted.
"Can you take Natalie back to the castle grounds please" Dumbledore asked.
"Sir please" Natalie says.
"It wasn't his fault" Katie said
"Still..if he can do it to mr Malfoy he can to anyone" The minister says.
"He's an animal what do you expect" Natalie says.
"Let's go Nat" Katie says .
"No" Natalie says.
"Natalie you will get in trouble let's go" Katie said dragging her off.
Natalie struggled a few times trying to get out of Katie's grip but all Natalie could do was focus on Buckbeak.

"Guys" Katie says to Harry, Ron and Hermione.
"Why is Draco running" Katie asked.
"Oh Hermione gave him a great punch" Ron says.
"Good" Katie says laughing with the others.
"Nat" Hermione says holding Natalies shoulders.
"He didn't mean it" Natalie mumbled.
"Buckbeak or Draco" Hermione says.
"Buckbeak...Draco deserved the punch" Natalie said looking away and sitting her back to the rock.
Everyone looked away as they heard the axe.
Hermione put her head onto Natalies shoulder while Katie did with Ron and Harry next to her.
Everyone stayed like that for a while before slowly walked back into the castle.
"Let's Go" Hermione says standing up.
Natalie didn't even blink, spaced out.
"Natalie come on" Hermione says,
"Hmm..oh ...ye" Natalies says standing up and walking past Hermione.
"Nat" Hermione says softly, following behind.

Later on Natalie noticed Draco and just wanted to hit him.
"He's gone" Natalie says walking past Draco.
"Nat" Draco says but Natalie just kept on walking.
"Smart move" Sophie says with a slow clap.
"I didn't" Draco says but stopped.
"Didn't mean it, Draco you don't think of emotions that well do you" Sophie says leaning on the wall.
"What are you talking about" Draco snapped.
"Buckbeak and other creatures are not just around for a class..some students go to calm down or get comfort" Sophie says looking away.
"Do you" Draco asked.
"Sometimes when I'm feeling stressed but that's not the point" Sophie says looking back at Draco.
"Natalie did to, not just Buckbeak but some of the Nifflers as well, she went just to think about them instead of her own issues" Sophie says.
"She doesn't talk about it but I've seen her go down their a few time" Sophie mentioned.
Draco just looked to where he last seen Natalie.
"Now you have a lot to make up for" Sophie says.
Draco didn't say anything.
"I may not be the smartest girl when it comes to feeling either but I know when someone is jealous..or likes someone" Sophie says.
"What...me like Natalie no way SHES" Draco says but gets cut off by a slap from Sophie.
"What is it with you lot at hitting me" Draco says rubbing his face.
"Built up anger" Sophie says.
"You like her don't you" Sophie asked.
"More than a friend I'm meaning" Sophie reminded Draco.
Draco didn't say anything, he just thought about what Sophie meant, the first thing that came into his mind was Natalies smile and how he hasn't seen it as bright as he used to.
Draco just put his head in his hand.
"See...and to be honest Natalie is just as blind as you" Sophie says.
"I've not got much of a Chance though" Draco says.
"I have an idea" Hermione said making Draco and Sophie jump.
"What are you on about" Sophie asked.
"Here" Hermione says giving Sophie a necklace,
"A time turner" Hermione says.
"Keep it quiet" Hermione says giving Draco a dirty look.
"You and Harry can go and save Buckbeak" Hermione whispered.
"Why not you" Sophie asked.
"Me and Katie are going to stay in the hospital wing with Ron" Hermione said.
"What happened to him" Sophie asked.
"Long story" Hermione says.
"Well, just take it and take Nat, she is the closest to Buckbeak and he might listen to her" Hermione says.
"And that means Natalie won't be as mad at Draco" Sophie whispered back.
"Whatever, sometimes I think she can do better " Hermione says with a small smile
"You ain't wrong, but that's Natalies type, even if she doesn't admit it" Sophie says looking at Draco.
"Those two drive me mad sometimes" Hermione whispered, turning around slowly and walking off.
"You are thankful I'm doing this, next time you will be getting more than a slap" Sophie says walking off.
"Because, no one hurts my pals without me knowing about it" Sophie says looking back at Draco and Running off.
"I am an idiot" Draco said hitting his head.

"Harry, did Hermione tell you everything" Sophie asked.
"Yep she did , have you asked Nat" Harry asked.
"No, not yet..it's where he is to be honest" Sophie says with a sigh.
"She won't be that hard to fine" Harry said running off.
"You do remember who we are talking about right" Sophie says rolling her eyes.
"WAIT UP" Sophie shouted when she realized Harry was too far ahead.
