Chapter 7: Break Down

It was a lot later and Natalie was up in the common room reading by the fire place.
"Nat" Amelia said jumping on the couch next to her.
"Easy" Natalie says trying to keep her balance.
"You won't believe what I just seem" Amelia said jumping a little on the couch trying not to fall off.
"What" Natalie said putting the book down.
"The Fat lady was attacked or something and she was put into another painting, people say it's Sirius black so the Gryffindor's are now sleeping in the great hall.
"You are kidding" Natalie says.
"Nope, come on let's go see the others before we have to go to sleep" Amelia says running out the common room.
"Wait up" Natalie shouted running behind Amelia.

"Kat" Amelia shouted almost sliding to her.
"Amelia, Nat" Katie says giving both a hug.
"How's the others" Natalie asked.
"All of us are safe.." Katie says.
"Thank goodness" Amelia said.
Natalie looked in to see rows of beanbags , Natalie looked down to hall to see Sophie hugging harry.
"How's harry handling it" Natalie asked looking back at Katie.
"Well he knows it might be Sirius Black....so" Katie says but stopped.
"Ye...I get you" Natalie says.
"Bright, Davis back to the Hufflepuff common room" Dumbledore says.
"Yes sir" Natalie responded.
"Give the others a hug from us" Amelia asked.
"Sure will" Katie said walking back in and sitting next to Ron.
"This is just..." Katie said to Ron but couldn't finish the sentence.
"It's ok" Ron said giving her a hug.
"The will find him" Sophie said.
"Hope so" Katie says looking at Harry who was hiding in his beanbag.
Katie just placed her head on Ron's shoulder trying to process it all.
Ron just tried to hide his red face but knew Sophie seen it, he could sense her smirk.
"No" Ron mouthed.
Sophie just smiled and went into her beanbag.
"We should get some rest" Ron says.
"Hmm oh ye ye" Katie says clearing her throat and heading to her beanbag.
"Night Ron" Katie says.
"Night Kat" Ron responded.

~With Natalie and Amelia~

"This is crazy" Amelia said sitting in her bed.
"Tell me about it" Natalie says brushing her hair.
"Do you think Harry is going to be ok" Amelia asked.
Natalie turned to look at Amelia, "he's with Katie, Ron and Soph, he's going to be ok" Natalie reassured Amelia.
"Plus he has us and Cole" Natalie mentions.
"And how about you" Amelia asked.
"Hmm what'd you mean" Natalie said brushing her hair again.
"Harry mentioned it" Amelia said.
Natalie stopped brushing her hair and started to fiddle with it.
"Just closure to the truth in a way" Natalie mentioned hoping into bed.
"Natalie" Amelia said now a little firm.
"Ok ok, Professor Lupin told me a bit about my Parents..and basically confirmed my Dad side worked for you-know-who" Natalie said hiding in the covers.
"And that my desperation to find my grandad is because I never got to say goodbye to him....he just left" Natalie said muffled into the covers.
"Natalie stop hiding" Amelia said .
Natalie slowly at up with a little bit of tears in her eyes.
"This is not Just because you found this out is it" Amelia said.
"No...it's because I keep hitting a wall" Natalie said putting her head in her hands.
"No matter what I do and no matter what I would say to people it just feels like I'm going in circles" Natalie says avoiding to look at Amelia.
"Nat" Amelia said softly.
"And finding out my family basically helped kill Harry parents and that the reason my Grandad left us was because of that, Sometimes I can't look at Harry without thinking my Grandfather could of been the reason he was going to be killed" Natalie said now just bursting in tears.
"Nat" Amelia said sitting next to Natalie.
"Why didn't you say any of this" Amelia asked.
"Harry was going through things and I didn't want to bother anyone" Natalie said In between sniffles.
Amelia just gave Natalie a hug, letting her let out all the emotions she needed to.
"Years you have been trying to avoid it" Amelia said.
"It's time to accept some of it" Amelia mentioned.
"I-i know t-that" Natalie stuttered rubbing tears from her cheeks.
"And all because Harry is going through things doesn't mean you should ignore ya own" Amelia said.
"You sure you are Hufflepuff, your being too much of a Ravenclaw right now" Natalie said with a little sniffle.
"The hat is never wrong" Amelia says giving Natalie another hug.
"Thank you Amelia" Natalie muffled.
"You would do the same for me" Amelia said.
"Just tell us when you are having these thoughts...it's not good to bottle them up" Amelia asked.
"If I'm being real with you..I will only try" Natalie says.
"Close enough" Amelia said laying her head on her pillow.
"Night" Amelia said.
"Night" Natalie said back curled up in her covers.

After a while Natalie couldn't sleep so she went down to the living room and sat by the fire.
Natalie was wrapped in her blanket looking at the warm, crackling fire.
"Can't sleep either" A voice said.
"Hmm....oh hi Cedric" Natalie said still wrapped in her blanket.
"What's up" Cedric said sitting on the couch.
"Just a lot on my mind" Natalie says.
"Want to talk about it" Cedric asked.
"Not all of it" Natalie says.
"Ok, what do you want to say" Cedric said leaning forward to sit near Natalie.
"Well you are aware the Davis Family is mostly Slytherins" Natalie mentioned.
"Ye that's true" Cedric says with a small nod.
"Well...I am worried that they will go with you-know-who" Natalie said keeping her focus on the fire.
"Well...at times you can't stop something, it's more how you work around it" Cedric mentioned.
"You think" Natalie asked.
"Of course" Cedric said messing Natalies hair that was under the blanket.
"You were not apart of it, so don't lump yourself with it" Cedric mentioned.
"I also worry about how much they are hiding from me....my Grandad gave up being with me and my siblings just to stop them if what the rumors say is true" Natalie added.
"Would he want you so worry" Cedric asked.
"Hmm" Natalie said looking up at Cedric,
"Your Grandad..would he want you to worry" Cedric asked again.
"No...he would want me to....keep...focused on happy things" Natalie said quietly looking down to the floor.
"You should get some rest" Cedric says getting up.
"Why did you get up" Natalie asked.
"Just did" Cedric said walking back to the boys dorms.
Natalie places the back of her head on the couch.
"I hate it when he's right" Natalie muffled to herself as she dragged herself to bed and tried her best to sleep.
Let's just say it was a long and sleepless night.
