Chapter 14: Family Heritage

"Right let's see here" Natalie says to herself placing her notes on her bed.
"Any luck" Amelia says walking in.
"Kinda" Natalie says.
"I'm not the best at Gaelic so I will have to find someone who knows it rather well" Natalie said with a sigh.
"Still, better than nothing" Amelia says grabbing her back.
"You sure you are not coming to hang out" Amelia says.
"Ye I just..need an early night that's all" Natalie says with a smile.
"Ok, you know where we are if you change ya mind"
Amelia says shutting the door.

While walking she noticed Harry sitting in the spot Sophie and Natalie hang about the most.
"Mind if I join" Amelia says.
"Oh hey Amelia ya sure" Harry says.
"What you thinking about" Amelia asked.
"A lot, two different things actually" Harry admits.
"And those are" Amelia says.
"Well one, you know me and Sophie have been close" Harry says.
"Yes you have, quite cute to be honest" Amelia said.
"Well after she gave me a kiss on the cheek it's like she's stuck in my head" Harry says .
"That a bad thing" Amelia asked.
"No no not at all, it just I'm worried it's only a friend thing" Harry admits.
Amelia just face palms,
"Trust me, you won't have to worry about that, just be honest with her" Amelia says.
"You two are so close" Amelia reminded Harry.
"That's true" Harry says.
"And the other thing" Amelia asked.
"Have you notice and changes in Natalie" Harry asked.
"Besides her trying to speak Gaelic no" Amelia says.
"I don't know, I just think she's worrying too much" Harry says looking up at the sky.
"Well, Thats Nat for you, she worry's about things too much and gets invested" Amelia says.
"Exactly, I just don't understand why she keeps hitting a dead end" Harry says.
"Well, her Family aren't the most open either..which explains it all" Amelia says.
"Ah leave her be" Sophie says which made both of them jump.
"Oh soph" Amelia says.
"She will be fine, it's good to give her some space" Sophie says sitting next to Harry.
"Still" Harry says.
"You said to us to see her as like a sister so I get that you are worried" Sophie says.
"How is she like a sister again" Amelia asked.
"We both just had similar experiences not much childhood but finding out about all this" Harry says.
"She wants to protect us, she worry's about us all the time even though she's going through all this" Harry says now walking back and forth.
"You have been around Nat for too long Harry, you are starting to act like her" Sophie says laughing.
"I mean it you two" Harry says.
"Just trying to lighten up the mood, sit" Sophie says patting the seat.
"I better get the others" Amelia says walking off.
Harry just looked as Amelia left knowing the main reason.

"Have you Told Nat you are worried" Sophie asked, Harry just shook his head no.
"Best you do, it may not seem like it but Natalie like knowing people are here for her, even if she is stubborn about it" Sophie says putting her head on his shoulder.
"What would you do" Harry asked putting his head on top of Sophie's.
"Well I would tell her straight up, don't give hints, she is blind in that department" Sophie says with a chuckle.
"Stop worrying" Sophie says giving Harry another peck on the cheek and walking off.
"We better get to the others" Sophie says going back into the castle leaving Harry wide eyed with his hand on his cheek, with a small smile.

The others were in the Great hall just having Normal conversation when they Noticed Amelia with Draco
"That's new" Ron says.
"Not really" Katie said
"They have talked a few times" Hermione mentioned.
"Wonder what it's about" Sophie asked.
"He's probably asking about Nat" Nicole says.
"Ye I get it" Sophie says.
"He has been worried about her a lot recently though" Nicole says.
"For once I don't blame him" Harry says.
"Now where are they going" Katie says when she seen them leave the great hall.
"To Natalie maybe" Ron says.
"But boys are not allowed in the girls rooms" Katie says.
"In the main part of the common room they are" Sophie says.
"As long as it's just for a short time it won't be bad" Hermione says.

~with Draco and Amelia~

"You seriously looked into it" Amelia says.
"Yes, I knew something was different about that scroll" Draco says walking to the Library.
"In what way" Amelia asked.
"Well when Two Pureblood Families do that thing normally they don't put the two families crests together" Draco says.
"On top of that I looked into the families more" Draco says grabbing the book.
"You are doing all this for Nat" Amelia says.
"She needs to rest" Draco said opening the book.
Amelia shook her head.
"Maybe Nat was wrong" Amelia says.
"About what" Draco asked.
"That you only see her as a friend" Amelia says.
"I-she-we oh never mind" Draco says.
"Just putting it out in the open is all" Amelia says.
"Anyway, I found out the Davis Family were a long like of just Scottish pureblood, they didn't go for anything else"
Draco says grabbing a small book out of his jacket,
"Even you took notes" Amelia says.
"Oh...shut it" Draco says looking away.
"And the Smiths" Amelia asked.
"They never seemed to bother as long as they were pureblood, but the Smiths Never seemed to get along once the smiths came from Ireland to Scotland in the 11th century" Draco says.
"How did you get all this" Amelia asked.
"I remembered my Mother having a book on pureblood families and asked if she could send me it" Draco admits.
"So In a way Natalie wasn't wrong about the Magna Carta" Amelia says.
"That scroll has to link to it in some way, the smiths came a century before the main Magna Carta and it is said the smiths were always fascinated with Muggles" Draco says showing Amelia the notes.
"Natalie said some words were off in Scottish Gaelic though" Amelia says.
"They must have linked it, they used both" Draco says.
"It all adds up" Amelia says.
"You did go all out" Amelia said with a smirk.
"Don't get any ideas" Draco says bluntly.
"I'm not , chill" Amelia says.
"I do feel Natalie has more on her mind though" Amelia says.
"She tell you another letter from my dad" Draco says.
"No" Amelia says with a sigh.
"Don't flip at her, probably still processing it herself" Draco says looking for a book.
"Still, I hate it when she hides things that will make her" Amelia says but stops herself.
"I get it but you can't protect her from everything ya know, you ain't her mum" Draco reminded Amelia.
"Just like you can't do all the work for her" Amelia says crossing her arms.
"I'm only doing it because when I seen her she looked exhausted" Draco says giving Amelia the small book.
"Just give her those notes ok" Draco asked.
"Oh course" Amelia says.

"And also" Amelia said leaning on the wall.
"Are you going to open up about Nat, it's obvious something is their for her" Amelia says.
"It's complicated" Draco says.
"How so" Amelia says.
"It just is" Draco said.
"Draco" Amelia said softly.
"If ok with friends" Draco says.
"Are you really, or are you just for Natalies benefit" Amelia says.
Draco just looks at Amelia and looks away.
"She has enough on her mind" Draco finally says.
"As long as she knows she can trust me that's enough" Draco admits.
"See that's now to hard to say" Amelia says.
"Only because you and Nat are similar" Draco says.
"Not really" Amelia says with a chuckle.
"She is definitely more stubborn, witty, funny" Amelia kept saying.
"Well you are more aware than Natalie" Draco says with a smirk.
"Everyone is, she does say I'm more wise" Amelia said with a confused look.
"I can see it, but you both would do anything for a friend" Draco says.
"Draco and compliments....rare" Amelia says
"Ok and you both have a cheek" Draco says making Amelia laugh.
"But for real, glad you can trust me" Amelia says.
"Natalie says good things about you helping her so of course" Draco says.
"If you say so" Amelia said.
"Just, be real with her" Amelia says walking off with the notes.
"Wish it were that simple" Draco says to himself putting the book away.

Amelia slowly opened the door to see Natalie out cold asleep on her bed with some notes on the end of the bed.
"Typical" Amelia mumbled trying to hold back a laugh.
Amelia picked up the papers and put them next to Natalies bed seeing she left out an old photo.
"You really miss him huh" Amelia whispered seeing the image of Ronald Smith Holding Natalie in his arms at the beach.
"Hopefully these will help" Thought putting the notebook next to Natalies notes.
Amelia decided to put Draco's Name on it to at least give him the credit and to let Natalie see how much he would do for her.

Later when Natalie woke up she looked over to see a small book.
"What the" Natalie said picking it up to see Draco's name...in Amelias handwriting.
"Did he..do all this" Natalie says flipping the pages.
"So it was like the Carta" Natalie says getting out of bed.
"Why" Natalie thought to herself , why did Draco go this far just to get some silly information that had nothing to do with him. Natalie went out the common room to the the others once she got dressed, while walking she noticed Draco talking to one of his friends letting out a yawn now and then.
"And he says I'm bad" Natalie thought to herself heading to the great hall with a calm Smile on her face.
