Yuu learned a lot about the vampire prince while showing him and his friends the castle. For instance, Mika loved reading. Yuu was forced- asked nicely- by Mika to stay in the castle library for over an hour so he could finish reading a short children's book that he remembered reading when he was younger. The blonde vampire also didn't understand majority of human jokes. Yuu tried to joke about stuff to distract himself from being around vampires, but they didn't understand.
Another fact that Yuu learned about Mika is that he doesn't like being touched all that much, especially by a human. The human prince learned that by tapping the other prince's shoulder to get his attention, and he jumped and clung to the roof. Mika apologized and Yuu brushed it off, but that didn't stop his curiosity from growing.
"So, Prince Mika, how big is your castle?" Yuu asked. The two princes and the two vampires were all in the garden, done with the tour already.
"Hmm. . . not as big as your castle, but still pretty big." Mika responded.
"Mika, don't be so modest." Lacus said. "The castle and the surrounding area are big. Massive even!"
"Don't mind him, Prince Yuichiro. He's always annoying." Renee said in his usual, bored tone.
There were also the two vampires that were apparently Mika's best friends that kept following them. At first, Yuu just ignored them, it was hard being around one bloodsucker, but being around three might give him an aneurism, but it was hard with their constant comments about him and the castle and his poor jokes. All the human prince wanted was to stab them with his sword, but he couldn't, not if he wanted the war to stop, so Yuu played nice. It was harder than expected.
"So, Yuu-Chan," Mika spoke up after admiring the wisteria flowers, "what do you normally do around here? Do you have any friends?"
Before Yuu could think, he responded, "Do you think I have no friends?"
The vampire prince panicked and shook his hands, signaling that, that was not what he meant, "No, of course not. I just haven't seen anyone else except the staff. I didn't mean to insinuate that."
"Well, I do have friends."
"Can you tell me about them?"
Everything about this angered Yuu, and not only the vampires, but having to stand out in the hot, blazing sun in the hot weather all because the other prince wanted to look at flowers. Flowers, of all things. Yuu tried nicely suggesting they go inside to get out of the heat, but Mika wanted to stay outside. He hoped that Mika and his friends would just burn, but he knew that they wouldn't, unfortunately. On top of that, now he was asking for information about his friends. It had to be a ploy, a way to get knowledge of everything and everyone so they could beat them! Though, Yuu couldn't just not say anything. He had to play nice.
"Well, there's my cousin, Shinoa. She's short and really annoying. Yoichi is also short but not annoying, a little touchy, though. Then there's Mitsuba, who says she doesn't like Shinoa but everyone can see that she does. She's mean at first but once you get to know her, Mitsuba can be the sweetest person. And then there's Kimizuki, a pain in my ass." Yuu got carried away talking about his friends. What can he say? He might act like he doesn't care about them but they all know he does.
"If Kimizuki is a pain in your ass, why be friends with him?" Mika questioned, seeming to be genuinely interested in Yuu and his life.
Lacus gasped and ran toward the two princes and covered Mika's ears while glaring at Yuu, "Look at what you've done! You've made sweet, innocent Mika curse. His virgin, baby ears!"
The vampire prince pushed his friend away, his face showing annoyance as he pouted, "Lacus, shut up. I am not innocent and I cuss all the time."
"Not around your mother!"
