I contributed the maximum amount from 1997 until 2020.
My initial contribution was about $1,200 a month, it would gradually increase as the government raised the limit. From 2015 until 2020 I was taking advantage of the government "catch up" rule and putting $2,000 away each month. My condo is now worth $185,000.
My share of the rental house is $170,000My 457 balance is $483,000
My Fidelity account is $149,000
My savings balance is $74,000
For a total of $1,061,000.00
If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.
We are debt free, we paid off the house several yrs. ago, and paid cash for all of our rentals. Our cars are paid off as well.
