I contributed the maximum amount from 1997 until 2020.
My initial contribution was about $1,200 a month, it would gradually increase as the government raised the limit. From 2015 until 2020 I was taking advantage of the government "catch up" rule and putting $2,000 away each month.

My condo is now worth $185,000.

My share of the rental house is $170,000

My 457 balance is $483,000

My Fidelity account is $149,000

My savings balance is $74,000

For a total of $1,061,000.00

If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer them.
