Infinity - Fundy x Dream

After wrapping up a stream, a red dot next to the Discord icon told Fundy to check the SMP channel. He saw a new announcement.

Hey everybody, since the war bit, everyone's been saying "Help" a lot on voice channels. As a safety precaution, to make sure people can say things and be taken seriously while streaming on VC, use the word "Infinity" in the phrase and it won't be taken as part of the roleplay. I know it sounds stupid, but we need to make sure people are staying safe or generally able to express themselves without others thinking it's for the roleplay. So just add it into a sentence so everyone listening knows that whatever you're saying is serious, in a good or bad way. Try to avoid it otherwise, but that won't be too hard. Thanks, guys!

Fundy knew he wouldn't need it, but he remembered the word just in case. After all, his mic cut out when he screamed too loud anyway.

He was putting the last touches on his new YouTube video, A Date with Dream. Everyone knew it was satire, but Fundy's heart quietly wished it weren't. Ever since he joined the SMP, he'd taken a secret liking to the other boy, despite not even seeing his face. They became close friends and used Fundy's obsession with Treasure Planet to make a funny video that slowly evolved into what Fundy didn't even realize he longed for.

Fundy finished editing the video and saved it, then walked into the kitchen. He hadn't realized how long he'd been at his desk until his legs wobbled under his weight. Just then, his phone started vibrating and a familiar ringtone went off. He pressed accept and waited for the recognizable voice to reach his ears.

"Hey, Fundy!"

"Hi. What's up?"

"Oh I just ended stream and got kinda bored, I just wanted to talk." Dream said with a slight giggle.

"Ah, so how was the stream then?"

"It was pretty good," Dream paused.

"It's been a while since you were last on the SMP, hasn't it?"

Fundy hesitated, "...Oh, I guess it probably has."

"Huh, we should stream together tomorrow" Dream suggested casually.

"Alright, I don't have any recording scheduled, why not?" Fundy replied with butterflies in his stomach.

"Great!"

They talked for a while after that. About Patches and Boots, and the SMP storyline. What Fundy remembered most, was their conversation about him visiting Dream in the US. Fundy had been to America before, of course, but not with Dream, he hadn't even seen his face. Although, with flight restrictions, he doubted the moment they truly met would come any time soon. Despite this, he wanted more than anything for it to happen. With a sigh, Fundy opened YouTube again to schedule his upload. After that, he called it a day and went to sleep.

The next morning, Fundy's alarm went off. Groaning, he felt around until he found the snooze button. Regretting it immediately, he sits up. He opens Discord and does a small calculation in his head. It's 9 here, so it's 12 am for him. Judging by Dream's schedule, some time in the afternoon would be when they stream, meaning Fundy had a whole day to burn. He closes Discord and opens a single-player world in Minecraft.

Hours pass by without him realizing until two notifications simultaneously appear. One from Twitch, Dreamwastaken is live!, and one on Discord, My stream's up, when are you logging on? Fundy doesn't need to check who sent that. He quickly saves his world and opens the SMP, while setting up his stream. Everything is loading, so he takes that time to respond to Dream, Right now, haha.
