Among the crowd's noice, a loud whistle was blown as the other team take their final point, ending the first set.

Bokuto who was sitting on the bench was out of it, looking down on the wooden floor, unable to concentrate on the game.

"Fukurodani!!! Fukurodani!!!"

"Bokuto I really need you to get in there." The coach said as the whole team surround the both of them.

"But coach I really can't yet." Bokuto insisted as he avoid the gaze of the whole team on him.

"Akaashi what's with him? Why's he acting like that right now?"

"Coach y/n hasn't showed up yet, he's probably waiting for her."

"... She'll be here soon right? Okay for now gather! Let's discuss a strategy."

Just then, you finally made it in the gymnasium, going through the crowd as you made your way to the front row of the people standing up to watch in the corner of the court.

"Bo!!!!!" You screamed out loud as you see him sitting down on the bench with his head down.

Bokuto quickly turned his head upon hearing your voice, with his expression changing quickly, you gave him a smile and waved back.

"Coach put me in there." Bokuto stood up and walked to the team, surpsing everyone.

"Go Bo! Get this match best Ace!!!" You cheered him on as the second set started.

With you amongs the crowd cheering him on, he felt extra motivated, scoring every point consecutively.

"Nice spike Bo!!As expected from the Ace!!"

A smirked was plastered on his face from hearing this, yet again scoring another point for the team.

Not even 30 minutes later, Fukurodani quickly took the second set, making the crowd go wild as they cheered them on.

The third set took them a bit as the other team's block and defence got tighter, they quickly got back not falling too far behind from Fukurodani. Although, this didn't stop them, Bokuto along with the other amazing team mates and great setter, took the final set as the last whistle from the referee was heard, ending the match.

As soon as the match ended, Bokuto quickly ran up to you, giving you a tight hug as he lift you up and ground.

"You did great, but I've always known you'd do a good job anyways." You looked down at his face and kissed his forehead.

On the other side of the court was the team celebrating together along with the managers and the coaches. "You okay?" Kaori asked as she watch Yukie, staring at the both of you.

"... Yeah. I'll just go get the bags." She answered, before walking off to the side benches where the first aid kit and their bags are.

"Bokuto-san time to line up. Also, Yukie-san is not looking anymore."

"Ah right!" You quickly let go of Bokuto as he put you back down. He gave you a smile before walking off to his team mate to line up and say thank you.

"Are you tired?" Bokuto asked as the both of you walked to Fukurodani's bus while holding hands.

"A bit."

"By the way, thank you for cheering me on and the extra energy boost." He added as he swing both of your hands in the air, gripping it tighly.

"you're welcome." You smiled at him and reached out for his head to pat it gently.

"I'm sure Yukie got jealous with that."

"She's definitely gonna take me back soon."

"Yeah, for sure! You're probably over the moon happy about it right?"

You stopped walking and removed your hand from Bokuto's grasp. "I need to go Bo, dad's probably waiting for me to get back by now."

"Really? Why not ride the bus back to school with me so I can walk you home."

"No, thanks. I'll just take the train ride, it'll be much quicker. Plus you don't have to do that, Yukie wouldn't even be able see you take me home so what's the point."

"Oh right I gotta congratulate the others and Akaashi too!" You ran off, leaving Bokuto walking behind you.

"y/n are you jealous?" Akaashi asked out of no where the moment the team got farther from the both of you.

"What?! Huh? Of course not! Me jealous?"

"Liar, I can tell by your facial expressions you k know." Akaashi, began to walk off to the bus. "Thanks for cheering on Bokuto-san by the way, I wouldn't have known what to do if you hadn't showed up." He gave you a smile one last time before getting on the bus.

After watching the match, you got home later than you usually do. You tried to open the door quietly, hoping that your family was already in their room.

"y/n is that you?" Your dad called out as you step inside.

"Ah dad, yes I just got here."

"Why have you been coming home late the past few days?" He said as he walked to the door to see you.

"...I'm sorry" you answered back, looking to the side to avoid his eyes.

He took a sighed before talking again "Does Bokuto know already?"

You gave him a smile and shook your head to answer. "...I don't think he has to know"

"If that's what you decide on. I'm just concerned for you okay?"

"I know. Thanks Dad, I'll go rest now." You said before turning around and walking off to your room.
