BOKUTO'S POV

It's the last day of training camp and since the first night, I haven't seen y/n anywhere. I went looking for her the day after, hoping that I'd get the chance to properly talk to her about something... but turns out, she've already left the night before.

"Bokuto-san your spikes are looking kind of weak just now."

"AKAASHI I can't concentrate you know! What if something happened to her or something?!"

"Nope, we've been texting and a few days ago she told me she had to go home because of family business. Didn't she tell you anything?"

"..."

I haven't made contact with her since the last time we talked... Yet she's been keeping up with Akaashi the past few days? I noticed how close y/n and Akaashi are, they usually hangout alot when the other is around. They get along well and even maintain contact with each other. I suddenly felt something on my chest for a quick second upon realizing this.

"Akaashi... Aren't you two a bit too close?"

"Oh, Really?" He chuckled a bit in a teasing way. "Well she did say I'm her closest friend after Nishinoya."

"Wah-"

"Are you jealous again Bokuto-san?"

"... I don't know...sorta" I mumbled, making Akaashi sigh upon hearing.

"We don't like each other. We're cousins, didn't I tell you this? Well, we also just found out about it two months ago since both of our families don't really associate with others."

"Cousins?! Really?? How?"

"Hmm... our grandmothers are sisters if that make sense? Anyways practice is starting, I'm sure you'd get to see her again once we get back to school next week. It's the last day of training camp after all, why don't you just enjoy practicing with others for now."

What Akaashi said was right. School starts again next week and I'd get to see you by then.
I stood up from where I was sitting and head to the court.

"AKAASHI toss for me??"

A few days had passed and school resumed again. It's now Wednesday morning, the third school day you haven't been around. Everyday making Bokuto more and more anxious with your sudden disappearance with no word. He began to panic with the thought that, you might have left him without a goodbye, like the same thing that had happened between you and Nishinoya.

The whole team were walking, on their way to the gym for morning practice till they all suddenly stopped from the sight of a familiar figure walking into the main building. Bokuto's who's sulking in the back suddenly bumped onto Komi, not realizing that the team stopped on their track.

"Oh there she is!" Konoha said out loud, catching Bokuto's attention. He turned his head to look at where Konoha was looking and saw you, except you were walking with someone... a guy.

"Wait, who's that guy he's with?!" Bokuto yelled out loud.

"That's just his brother." Akaashi answered, unbothered by everyone looking at him after what he said.

"Dude, since when have you met her brother?!" Komi asked, nudging Akaashi on the side with his elbow.

"Yesterday when I was in FaceTime with her?"

"FaceTime?!"

"Didn't she told you about it Bokuto-san? She got a fever that's why she couldn't attend school"

"She also told me it's nothing serious since she was already better since Monday but just decided to take a day off."

Bokuto who was overly joyed with finally seeing you again, left the team running to where you were heading. When he got there, he then waited outside the teacher's faculty room till you got out.

"Bo?!" You said in surprised from seeing him standing just outside.

"Oh, so you're my sister's boyfriend." Your brother said with a huge smile on his face. "Bokuto right? Sorry if y/n didn't tell you about her sickness, you know how stubborn she can me sometimes."

You clenched your fist because of what your brother said, hoping that Bokuto didn't catch on by what he meant.

"Oh no it's fine" Bokuto answered back with a smile as he turned his head to look at you, making your eyes meet which you then averted quickly. You were relieved, as you weren't really planning on telling him yet or perhaps... never.

"Im glad you understand, considering the condition she's in now. Anyways, I have to go, make sure to take care of her Bokuto-kun"

"When will I get to see you again?" You asked your brother, with a quite sad tone.

He pinched your cheeks slightly. "I'll try to get home again as soon as I can, but you have to make sure that I don't get home to the same thing as last time okay?"

'So that's where she got the cheeks pinching.' Bokuto thought as he watched the two of you.

Your brother walked off, leaving the school. Bokuto then walked you to your classroom but the whole walk there, you were walking either infront of him or behind him, trying your best to not match his phase. You didn't say even a single word nor gave a glance at him either, making him notice the how weird you're acting.

He was about to ask you what's going on, but you both reached your classroom already, which you went into without even saying goodbye.

'What?! Did I do something wrong or something??' Bokuto questioned himself in confusion.

You took your seat and rest your head on the desk. Feeling uneasy with the how you've treated Bokuto, you looked at the door to see if he's still there.

Standing in front of the open door was Bokuto, looking downhearted while staring at the floor. You took a sigh and was about to stand up to go talk to him but before you even got the chance to,  Bokuto turn on his heel and began walking out of your sight.

"I'm sorry Bo.." you whispered beneath your breath.

-after school in the gym-

"WHAT?!" Bokuto screamed while sitting down on the bench, with his eyes widen as he look at you.

"... It's time to end the deal Bo."

Bokuto gritted his teeth and bend his neck down to look at the ground while clenching his fist as hard as he can.
