Chapter 8
I stood against the wall in shock, unable to process what had just happened. Draco Malfoy, the Slytherin prince, just pinned me up against a wall and kissed me.
"Cardomone?" I snapped out of my daze and was met with the same pair of silver eyes. Our faces were so close that one false move could lead to something utterly embarrassing.
"Malfoy."
"Am I making Estella Cardomone nervous?" He mocked, his stupid arrogant smirk planted on his face.
I couldn't answer his question, because the truth was, yes. He was making me unbelievably nervous, but yet so happy at the same time. I didn't want to believe it, but maybe I had fallen for more than just his looks.
I kissed him, and he kissed me back so passionately I didn't want it to end. He pulled away from the kiss, and studied my face.
"How about we make this our little secret?" Malfoy whispered into my ear, sending nervous butterflies all over my body.
"But-I-you..." I trailed off as he put his cold finger on my lips to hush me.
"Don't mention it." He whispered, and moved back, freeing me from the wall.
"See you later Cardomone." He smirked and left the alley to the Main Street of Hogsmeade.
What just happened?
—
The next few weeks past by just the same. Draco and I would meet in secret, keeping his word. Our secret, and although everyone already knows that we kissed, they don't know about the other things we do behind closed doors.
Over the last couple of weeks, I have noticed that Draco had growing dark circles around his eyes, and he would never show up for class, not even for dinner most nights. He wouldn't tell me why, but I didn't want to push it since I know he has a short temper.
—
"Hey Estella? Can I talk to you for a moment?" I look back to see Harry Potter standing just outside the potions classroom, the class we had just left. I told Tam and Hermione that I would talk to them later, and walked over to Harry.
"What's wrong Harry?" I asked. He looked a bit nervous, seeming that we haven't had a full conversation since the night that Draco stole me out of the Great hall.
"Do you know where Draco has been going when he's not at class?" He asked. I was frozen. I didn't know, Merlin no one knows.
"Uh- no Harry, I don't sorry."
"Well, I just thought that since you have been spending so much time with him that he would of told you." I was half way down the hall by the time he finished, and I froze in my tracks. How did he know?
"I don't know what you are talking about Harry." I snapped.
"I know that's where you have been going Estella." He took a step towards me, and kept walking closer until he was close enough to place a hand on my cheek.
"Please. Estella this is important. I need to know." He whispered.
I pulled his hand off my cheek and looked back at his eyes.
"Harry I already told you I don't know where he goes."
"Estella-" Harry stopped talking, as he looked down the hall, and saw a figure staking towards us. I was relieved because I knew exactly who it was, just by the arrogant stride in his walk.
"Potter. I think Estella here said that she doesn't know." Draco hissed.
"Shut up Malfoy." Harry replied.
"Malfoy." I walked over to him, hoping that he may show some sign of affection, but instead he made me stand behind him.
"Where have you been Malfoy?" Harry asked.
And before I could stop him, Draco had lunged forward and punched Harry across the face.
