Rotom To The Rescue

Ash, Lillie, and Gladion took a really good look at the crystal ball. The sun made it shine brighter than a diamond.

Ash covered his eyes briefly before saying in pure awe,"So shiny and yet so simple..."

Hala couldn't help but laugh hysterically. After he wiped a tear from his eye, the Kahuna stated ,"It's anything but simple! Once you touch it, it can take you anywhere."

In the distance, Lusamine was happily walking towards the party with a chocolate cake in hand. Hobbes noticed this and said in a state of panic,"Madame Lusamine! Let me get that for you!"

Lusamine giggled in delight. She then said,"Oh, Hobbes you are such a card! But, I've got it!"

Hobbes said as he tried to catch up to Lusamine,"But, Madame Lusamine...!"

Lusamine was about to set the cake down on the present table when she could spot her children in the distance.

She started to smile. She was touched to see Lillie and Gladion bonding with each other. She loved her children very much, however, she never had the time to really hang out or even talk to them. She was just so busy being the president of Aether Paradise.

All of a sudden, an ultra wormhole appeared in front of Ash, Pikachu, Kahuna Hala, Lillie, and Gladion!

Lusamine grinned rather wickedly. She said to herself,"Those Ultra Beasts are mine."

A horrified Lillie asked Ash loudly through the harsh winds,"You want to go to Ultra Space?"

Ash shook his head, feeling just as scared. "No, I just wanted the crystal ball to take us somewhere cool!"

Gladion thought in frustration, You think you could've been more specific?

Gladion's thoughts were interrupted when he could hear his sister shout,"Help!"

To Gladion's horror, Lillie got sucked up by the ultra wormhole!

Gladion desperately tried to think of a way to save his sister, but felt himself being pulled into the hole as well.

Pikachu was the first to notice this and grabbed Gladion by the ankle. Sadly, Pikachu's cute but stubby arms weren't strong enough to save Gladion.

In one massive swoosh, Gladion and Pikachu got pulled into the ultra wormhole!

Ash cried out, feeling downright devastated,"Pikachu!"

Meanwhile, Lusamine fell down on her knees and exclaimed before sobbing uncontrollably,"My babies! What's going to happen to them?"

Kahuna Hala apologized to Ash and Lusamine,"I'm so sorry... I had no idea the orb had the potential to open ultra wormholes!"

A now frustrated Lusamine stomped towards Hala and grabbed his white shirt with both hands.

Sophocles said blankly,"Oh, no..."

Lusamine screeched at Kahuna Hala,"Lillie and Gladion were the only beings left that were worthy of my love! So you better help me get them back or so help me...!"

Professor Kukui and Kiawe suddenly pulled Lusamine back. Kukui tried to calm the president of Aether Pardise down by saying,"Lusamine, frightening a Kahuna to death is not going to solve anything!"

Kiawe was about to speak up as well when a truly heartbroken Ash asked Kukui,"Professor... is Pikachu... really gone?"

Kukui's heart sank. He knew Pikachu and Ash shared an unbreakable bond. He wanted to say yes but...

Suddenly, Rotom approached Kahuna Hala, Kukui, Kiawe, Lusamine and Ash. He proclaimed in a chipper voice,"Never fear my friends! I have some data that just might save Lusamine's children and Pikachu!"

Everyone gave Rotom a look of extreme confusion. Rotom chuckled rather nervously before displaying a picture of Solgaleo.

A calm Lusamine asked in a state of awe,"Is that...?"

Rotom stated happily,"Solgaleo, a physic and steel Pokémon. Sometimes the result of its opening an Ultra Wormhole is that energy and life-forms from other worlds are called here to this world."

To Rotom's surprise, Ash said with a clear relieved tone in his voice,"Nebby! He can evolve into Solgaleo!"

Nebby cried out in confusion.

Ash bent down and said to Nebby softly,"I know it may seem crazy but, we're all counting on you to evolve into Solgaleo. It's the only way to save our friends."

Nebby seem frightened at first. However, after closing his eyes and realizing that he must do this for the happiness of all of his friends', Nebby looked straight at Ash with determined eyes and nodded.
