Gladion's eyes bolted right open. He felt very confused and uncomfortable due to the fact that all he could see was pitch black darkness. There was also no sound...

"Lillie? Pikachu? Are you guys here with me?"

Suddenly, a single bright light appeared from what appeared to be miles away.

Gladion immediately ran right towards it. As he got closer and closer to the light, he could see the silhouette of a rather tall man.

Was that...? Gladion thought in pure astonishment.

Gladion woke up and as he got up on his feet, Mohn said in relief,"Thank goodness that you've awakened, my boy."

Gladion knew that voice. Without warning, he gave Mohn a hug. "Father! I thought I'd never see you again!"

Lillie, who was seated at Mohn's wooden table, said sadly,"Um... Gladion..."

Mohn chuckled rather awkwardly. He said as he pulled back from the hug,"Well, that's one way to make a first impression."

Gladion was horrifically stunned. "Father, it's us, Lillie and Gladion!"

A confused Mohn replied,"I'm very sorry young man, but I believe you're confusing me with someone else..."

Gladion could feel angry and devastating tears trickle down his face. His own Father was suffering from amnesia...

Gladion thought in grief, That day at Aether Paradise... Father got sucked up by an ultra wormhole that was summoned up by Faba. That was the sole reason Mother never stopped researching how to get into Ultra Space. The reason Mother... grew distant towards us."

A concerned Pikachu went on over to Gladion. He asked, his ears drooping,"Chu?"

Lillie got up from her seat and was about to give her brother a comforting hug when a Magnemite flew into the room. It seemed to be carrying a basket that carried sparkling, rainbow beans.

Mohn said in an out of place cheerful tone,"Ah! Good work, Magnemite! Those beans will surely attract the legendary Silvally!"

Gladion's head shot straight up. "What did you say?"

Mohn once again chuckled, this time in a more light-hearted manner. "Oh, it's a funny story, but, every time I fall asleep, a Silvally brings me these colorful discs... Then, very blurry memories play out in my head."

Lillie and Gladion quickly looked at each other then looked at Mohn in utter shock.

Mohn continued smiling. "Anyway, you two should see what's outside."

Gladion and Lillie followed their Father, hoping to ask him a bunch of questions, only to gasp in awe.

They stepped outide just in time to see a Milotic jump gracefully in the gorgeous, blue waters.

Majestic vines that had two different shades of green were so tall, they nearly touched the clouds. Lillie gasped once more at the sight of a flock of Mareep playing happily with each other while Gladion smiled at a Gyrados who was trying to teach a Magikarp to swim.

Lillie found herself saying happily,"There must be at least every type of Pokémon here!"

Pikachu's eyes twinkled in awe and said in agreement,"Pikachu!"

Mohn nodded. "It's a beautiful sight, isn't it? It's like a Pokémon paradise!"

Gladion turned his head slightly towards Mohn in confusion. "So, this isn't Ultra Space?"

"Hmm?" Mohn put a hand on Gladion's shoulder. "Gladion, was it? I'm not sure... But, that is a great name!"

Gladion smiled to see his Father so happy. However, he also felt a lot of pain in his heart.

Hopefully, he'll regain his memories... Gladion thought with all the hope he had left.

Inside the Pokemon School's library, Ash, Professor Kukui, Kahuna Hala, Lusamine, Hobbes, Sophocles, Mallow, Lana, Kiawe, and Hau were frantically searching for a book. A book... that could potentially help Nebby evolve.

Ash could feel tears forming in his eyes, but quickly wiped them away to continue searching.

Mallow suddenly declared in sheer excitement,"I found it!"

Everyone quickly gathered around Mallow who read,"The "child of the stars" gains the ability to evolve into Cosmoem by remaining in a meditative state with the intention to calm itself down."

Lusamine asked in a frantic state,"For how long?"

Despite feeling anxious herself, Mallow managed to reply calmly,"Just for 48 hours."

Everyone directed their attention from the book to Nebby who simply smiled at them.

Ash slowly went up to Nebby and asked him,"Nebby... are you ready?"

Nebby nodded in determination.
