"Killua~..." Gon said, his eyes focused entirely on Leorio.
"Hm?" Killua responded, his gaze slowly drifting over to Gon.
"What...just happened..." Gon stared directly at Killua, clearly scarred for life.
Leorio stood in the middle of the arena, a huge smile stretched across his face. "I'M NEVER WASHING MY HAND AGAIN!!" He yelled, the smile stretching even wider. The enemy across from him just scoffed and brushed off her outfit. After she turned around, leaving Leorio with his..ahem..."special hand"...The board added 10 hours for his wrong answer.
"You are such an idiot..." Kurapika sighed, shoving his face into his hands with embarrassment. Leorio just strutted back without a care in the world.
~time skip, end of exam's section~
The five group members, Gon, Killua, Leorio, Kurapika, and Tompa, all sat down in the blue chairs of the waiting room. "Man, this sucks." Tompa said, starting to pull out a magazine from inside of a drawer. Kurapika sighed. "Well, let's at least make the most of it. After all, I think Leorio needs to rethink some things, hm?" He stared coldly at Leorio, cocking his head to one side. "I'm not sure what you're talking about, Pika~" Leorio replied, annoyingly poking fun at Kurapika's name.
Gon looked up at Killua with a confused expression. Killua noticed this, and asked, "You ok? Why-..are you so confused?" Gon looked down at his hands, starting to fumble with his thumbs. "W-Well, I was thinking about what Leorio did with that girl..." He looked back up at Killua. "I was just thinking, 'Would I ever do that?' Truth is, I don't think I'm that interested in girls. I mean, I just don't find them very...well...attractive."
Killua cocked his head to the side, then his eyes widened. "G-Gon...do you think you're.." He caught himself from saying anything too loud, so instead, he leant in a little closer to Gon so he could whisper.
"Gon..do you think you're gay?"
Gon's eyebrows lowered a bit, then he gave a small nod without making eye contact with Killua. Killua's eyes widened a little more, then he just lightly placed his hand on Gon's shoulder. "Gon, are you worried that people are going to judge you for this?" Gon's eyes started welling up with tears, and he gave another quick nod. Killua immediately wrapped his arms around Gon. "Please don't be worried, Gon." Without realizing what he just did, Killua backed away. "I-I'm sorry, is it weird that I'm hugging you? I mean, we aren't like...super close or anything, but-"
"It's fine." Gon interrupted him. "I liked it, can you hug me again?" Killua looked at Gon with a hesitant smile and quietly said, "O-Okay.." He wrapped his arms around Gon again, and Gon pulled his hands up to pull Killua in a bit closer than before.
After their hug, Killua backed away from Gon once more and looked down at the floor. "I'm gay too..." He whispered. Killua opened his hand and stared at it. All of a sudden, his nails were formed into claws, and veins poked through his skin. "I..get angry at myself." He mumbled. "It usually results in me either hurting myself or hurting someone/something." Tears tried to roll down his cheeks, and Killua was struggling to keep them back. "Thank you for telling me, Gon. I'm really glad I found someone who's kinda like me." He gave Gon a small smile, and Gon smiled at him in return.
"I guess the main reason I found out was when I met you." Gon told him. Killua leaned back a bit, his eyes getting narrow. "I..felt all fuzzy inside. You are really handsome, Killua. There's just something about you, about ME..I felt...Well..." Gon was struggling to find his words. With a deep breath, he said a little too loudly,
"Killua...I think I'm in love with you..!"
