A Coming Of Age/LGBTQ Story

At the age of 11 Y/n came out to her mom as bisexual. Her mom was accepting and assured Y/n it was okay to feel that way. Y/n felt happy that her supported her.

The next day Y/n's mom went the store and bought a a small rainbow flag for Y/n. When Y/n got it, she smiled and hugged her mom then ran into her room and hung it on her wall.

At the age of 12 Y/n had her first girl on girl experience. It was with a best friend. Her friend was also bisexual and it was her first time with a girl too, but she wasnt as nervous as Y/n.

They started dating after that. It felt forced though. As if Y/n didnt like her. So she broke up with her. They stayed friends though.

They started 7th grade. Her friend moved 40 minutes away and Y/n stayed at the same crappy ghetto homophobic school. The dress code was ridiculous.

One of the teachers said that boys dont know how to control themselves and that it would be Y/ns fault if anything happened. Then onw of the girls stood up and yelled-

"Im a lesbian and i can control myself."

Y/n smiled knowing she wasnt the only Lgbtq person in the class.

When Y/n started 8th grade, she dropped her old friend after realizing she was toxic. Y/n also started to loose all interest in guys.

She started going on omegle and finding these really pretty girls under the lgbtq tag. She got a few snapchats on the way.

She also became friends with the girl that stood up for her last school year, her name is Kyoka Jirou.

They hung out the entire summer after 8th grade ended. Y/n realized she was a lesbian, not a bisexual.

She came out to her ENTIRE family; aunts, cousins, stepdad, brothers, and even her grandparents. Surprisingly only one aunt was against it. She felt happy to be honest with everyone. Her mom said-

"I knew you were more of cat person."

Throughout the summer, Jirou and Y/n went to a party, they met a few girls, Jirou got their numbers, Y/n wasnt interested in them though. It felt... weird? So she found her type. Tall girls with long hair, smart and kind, and of course, interested in girls.

Starting high school was fun for Y/n. Immediately she found her friend group. They called themselves the Bakusquad. Jirou already knew them since she met Mina at the party. She was straight though, but very supportive. Actually, she was bi curious but scared to try anything yet.

Mina introduced Y/n to her friend, Momo Yaoyorozu. Y/n was... shocked at how pretty she was. She didnt wanna say anything just in case she wasnt a girl in red fan yk?

Throughout 2 months, Y/n slowly dropped hints she was a lesbian to Yaoyorozu. Always cutting her nails short, even painting them the lesbian flag, wearing a lot of eyeliner, getting an undercut, buying flannels... then finally Yaoyorozu got the memo.

She flicked her wrist and raised a brow. The gay hand. Y/n nodded.

"Omg me too! This is amazing!" Yaoyorozu yelled in the middle of science.

The teacher looked at her weird.

"Sorry," she did the gay hand thing again, "yk? Yk."

Y/n looked so confused.
