When I handed the bomb to Lucas, his evil smile only increased. I reached into my backpack and felt the mini bombs I had to plant on the outside of the building. "You are dismissed Jason," Lucas said. I walked briskly outside and started planting bombs without being seen.
"You done planting those?" a voice asked me, as I turned around. Luckily it was just Madison. "The soldiers are waiting for you," she informed me. "I believe that this might just work. We'll find out in five minutes."
"I'll be right there. I need to do one more thing," I whispered to Madison, before I snuck over to the prison. She gave me a thumbs up and left. The guard was already dead and thankfully, the door to the prison was unlocked. I ran inside and started to look out for Lila's cell.
"Jason, watc-"
She wasn't able to finish. Pain instantly shot through my arm. I turned and sure enough a guard was there. I took out my gun and shot him. The guard wouldn't move again. Once I unlocked the door, Lila ran out towards me. She held me tightly in an embrace. I quickly sucked in a breath when she accidentally touched my arm.
"We need to go," I urged as I pulled her out of the prison. We were running past the main building when she suddenly stopped running. I skidded to a stop. "Come on! The bombs can go off any second."
Lila didn't move, "I'm sorry Jason. My father is here. You know him now as Lucas. I wouldn't dare leave my family. I'm a Wolf, and I'm sorry. I wish you could of showed me the special place at the capitol. I was looking forward to that" Before I could say anything, she ran into the building, and then the bombs went off.
