Chapter 14

POV:Summer

I wake up to Thomas' arm around me, I look up at the sky, It's not quite sunrise yet but it's about to be soon. "Tommy...Tommy wake up." I say as I move myself out of his grip. "Wha- what's wrong? And what time is it?" He says as he slowly wakes up eyes squinted. "We have to get you make in that slammer before anyone finds you gone!" I say while pulling him up. He follows as we try to find our way back to the camp but not quite in the camp in case someone sees. Once we finally reach the slammer he goes to walk in the room. "I'll tell to you about everything after training today, and don't get yourself caught on the way back!" He says in reply. I quickly kiss him before closing the door and using the same piece of string to tie up the door. "And don't get yourself killed out in that maze, I don't know what I would do if I lost you." I say. I quickly make my way away from the slammer and quietly sneak my way to my tent, get in and zip it up to get some sleep till the rest get up. Then I get awakened by Mercedes to eat breakfast, as we head to breakfast I see as I see Thomas being let of of the slammer and running into that dreadful maze. As me and Mercedes take a seat as she starts to ask how my night was and why do I have a piece of grass in my hair. Well there goes me keeping what happened last night a secret for a while longer! So I did I told her. "BUT YOU CANT TELL ANYONE" I say in a strong, but still quiet tone. "Or else I'll tell what I saw..." I say with a smirk on my face. "What do you mean what you saw? And get that smirk off your face!" She says in reply. "Newt and I did nothing compared to what you an Thomas did!" "Don't worry it'll happen!" I say teasing her. "What will happen?" I hear someone say in the distance, crap it's Newt! "Nothing!" We both say in sink a little suspicious if I did say so myself. "Ok then... we start work in five! Be ready he says while looking at Mercedes and turning around to head to the gardens. I turn around to see Mercedes red. "That was quite a look he gave you!" I say while laughing, but for her, her face still red and rolling her eyes. "Trust me, something will happen..." I say as I get up and head to the gardens. It was pretty much like a normal day of work nothing much other than the look that Mercedes and Newt would give each other throughout the day. Once we finish I see Newt come up to Mercedes and I, "It's your guys turn for the showers, if you would like you can have one, just wanted to let you know." He says while after walking away. "It's your turn for the shower Mercedes, why don't you go get him!" I say while mocking Newt, teasing her, and her face going REALLY red. She gives me another shove as we make our way to the shower shack, once we get inside we each grab a towel and head in one of the showers that there's only two of. I close the curtain and take off my clothes and have my shower. Then I hear Mercedes yell something. "You shuck- faces!" She says in a really angry tone, then I see two figures of feet run past my little window against the wall of the shower. "What just happened?!" I ask. "Those perverts we're watching me as I was taking a shower!" She says in reply. I was just thankful it wasn't me, if only Tommy found out, those perverts would be dead! "Don't worry, we'll tell Newt and he'll handle those perverts!" I say while I hear her turn off her shower, same with myself. "Let's get out of here before we get ourselves stared at again!" She says. I quickly putt on my clothes and squeeze my hair with my towel to dry it off. We both open our curtains at the same time as we rush in a hurry to go tell what happened. Once we finally find Newt we tell him what happened. "Those bloody shucked faced perverts!" Who were they!?" He says in an angry tone. We point at them as they quickly go to run away as Newt starts to chase after them. "Told you!" I say as she goes to catch up, so I follow. In the distance I see another glader who's also there right behind Newt going to help. Once they make it to them they push them down to the ground and grip onto there hand all pull them behind there backs and pull them up. "Too the bloody slammer you two!" Newt says while again, looking Mercedes as he passes. "Let's get back and wait for Newt, and I think Tommy should be getting back soon, Let's go see!" I say while gripping Mercedes by the hand pulling her back to the camp. We finally make it to the doors as they start to open. Then I see Minho and Thomas turn the corner making there way to the doors. "Thomas!" I say while running up to him, swinging my arm around his neck and hugging him tightly. "I missed you too." He says while slightly laughing as I pull away. "Did you just have a shower? Cause you look good. And Where's Newt?" He asks while looking around, with no one there but Mercedes and I, and Minho in the distance running back to the camp. Then I start to speak to answer his question. "Well thanks, and yes I did! Let's go back to camp, hell be there. Plus, we have A LOT to tell you..."
