Virgil's eyes slowly opened. He tried to recall his nightmares but...he couldn't? That was odd. They were always so traumatic, he always remembered them when he woke up.
Did....did he even have one last night?

"Good morning," Logan said.
Virgil realized he was leaning on Logan, and scooted away. "Ah! Wh-What happened-"
"Relax," Logan pushed up his glasses. "You fell asleep last night. I knew you were tired."
Virgil blushed. "But-"
"I would have brought you to your bed, however I didn't think it would be right to enter your room without permission. And I didn't want to disturb you."
"S-So you just...let me sleep on your shoulder?" Virgil stuttered.
"It seemed polite too."
"O-Oh...well thank you." Virgil smiled softly.

Roman walked in yawning. "Goooood morning Light Sides!" He smiled. "And Anxiety."
Virgil saddened. Of course they wouldn't consider him-
"Roman don't be rude," Logan glared slightly.
"What?" Roman asked as he walked into the kitchen.
Logan stood up and stopped Roman. "You completely insulted Anxiety. You needed to apologize."
"What did I say?"
Logan sighed. "The way you said good morning? You said Anxiety wasn't a light side. Thats not ok!"
"I-I didn't realize! I guess he's new so I-"

Roman stopped his rambling. "I'm sorry Anxiety."
"I-Its ok..." Virgil said.

Logan...Logan stood up for him. Logically he could have just completely ignored the comment. It meant nothing to Logan. But...he still stood up for Virgil. That meant a lot to him...
"Sorry about him," Logan sat back down. "His ego is so big sometimes he can't even see over it."
"HEY!" Roman shouted from the kitchen.
Virgil chuckled. "Its ok. Thank you for standing up for me..I'm not used to it-"

Patton walked in next. "Good morning!" He smiled, wide awake. He noticed all the books and notes on the table, and how Logan looked like he just woke up. Yet. He was still in his clothes-
"Logan! Did you stay up all night researching again?!" Patton gasped. "You know better!"
Virgil laughed. "You can handle it, huh?" He mocked.
Logan looked flustered. "I got to sleep eventually."
"You slept on the couch!" Patton scolded. "I can tell!"

"Silence!" Roman walked into the living room holding a large plate of waffles. "Thomas plans to make a video today! And we need to be ready! Eat up!"

Everyone grabbed a waffle, but Virgil hesitated. Was he allowed to have one? Was he even a light Side-

Logan handed Virgil a waffle.
"You need your strength," Logan softly smiled. "Take one."
Virgil smiled slightly, and took a bite.

Suddenly, each of them dropped their waffle. The ceiling began to glow.

Thomas was summoning them.
