"Thanks Anxiety, I feel so much better! You really helped me out today!" Thomas smiled.

Thats all Virgil wanted! To make Thomas safe and happy! And yet, he didn't smile. He felt like he couldn't. Didn't deserve to. This was the bare minimum. He still had to keep Thomas safe from the Dark Sides.

Just as he was about to Sink out for the day, Patton followed him.

"Anxiety hey!" Patton called out.
Virgil was just about to enter his room.
"M-Morality! Hi..?" Virgil said flustered.
"Oh no need for that kiddo! Call me Patton!"
"O-Ok.."

"Its wonderful to have a new light side on the team kiddo!" Patton patted Virgil's shoulder. "And Logan had a good point! Even though your methods are new, I'm excited to see how they help Thomas in the future!"
"Thank you," Virgil nodded. He was about to enter his room but-

"Wait where are you going?" Patton asked.
"Into my room?" Virgil said.
"Aw C'mon! We want to get to know you! Will you join us in our comman room? We're having tea!"
"Tea?"
"Yeah! Come! Come!"

...

Virgil sat on the couch, with a small hot cup in his hands. He was incredibly nervous and uncomfortable. He didn't expect the Sides to want to get to know him. Let alone be nice to him!
"So...do you have a name?" Roman asked.
Virgil tensed. "Y-yeah.."
"Do you want to tell us?" Logan asked.
Virgil glared at Logan.
"Fair enough," Logan said.

"So...when did you manifest?" Patton asked.
"Why do you need to know?" Virgil scoffed. These questions were getting annoying.
"So I know when to throw you a birthday party!!" Patton smiled.
"I wouldn't bother," Virgil stood up and put his tea down. "I'm going to my room."

Virgil stomped away.

"Talk about an emo." Roman scoffed.
