a/n: before i start this i just wanted to say that in the following chapters, hayley and klaus sleep together once but hayley won't get preggo with hope, hayley and clarke are friends who haven't seen each other in a while; there will be a whole lot of surprises including things from tvd and things that i have made up; henrik, the youngest (i think) child of the mikaelson family will be introduced in this chapter, also this chapter is real long.

Clarke POV:
Sometimes I just hate friends and you're about to find out why.

Flashback:
After finding out a bunch of secrets that Klaus and them were hiding from me I went back to the hotel. I went into the room they Harper, Octavia, Raven, and I were sharing and everyone was there. They all look at me with confusion and anger. Probably because I blew them off.

"Where were you?" Harper asks me, infuriated.

Why is she so mad? I was only gone one night.

"No where." I fake smile.

"Don't lie to us. Bellamy told us that you were at your ex-boyfriend's house." Murphy says and I look at Bellamy, angry.

"You what?"

"Don't get mad at him, he didn't do anything. Why were you at his house?" Miller asks.

"Oh, well, if you must know, I was originally there because my friends and I had to tell Bellamy something big but since he can't keep a secret, I know what I have to do with him." I smile at Bellamy.

He looks scared and that's good for me.

"Why'd you stay? Why didn't you go back with Bell?" Octavia raises an eyebrow.

"Because I needed some alone time."

"With your ex-boyfriend?" Harper scoffs.

"Yeah, with my ex-boyfriend, my best friend, and their older brother." I tell them.

"Well, did you remember that we had plans? We were gonna watch The Heat and eat popcorn but no, you decided to spend time with your ex-boyfriend." Lincoln says.

"So sorry that I had to ruin your precious night! I needed some alone time! I saw my brother, Kol, for the first time in God knows how long and I wanted to say hi to him, am I not allowed to do that?" I shout at them.

"Bro, you have other family to see-"

"No, I don't." I interrupt Finn, coldly.

They all except for Bellamy and Octavia look at me with confusion and pity, I hate it. Octavia seems to notice so she says, "Her dad left, took her brother with him, her mom kicked her out, that's why she's staying with us."

They look at Octavia then at me.

"So, Kol is your family?" Lincoln asks me and I nod.

"Rebekah had five brothers— Finn, being the oldest, Elijah, Kol, Klaus, and Henrik, the youngest. I never met Henrik because he died way before I met him-"

"How did he die?" Raven asks me, quietly.

I can't tell them the truth because they don't know what I am except for Bellamy so I need to come up with a lie, but Henrik died when Klaus brought him to see the Werewolves transform. One of the Werewolves lost control and mauled him to his death; which caused Mikael and Esther to protect their children— Finn, Elijah, Kol, Klaus, and Rebekah by turning them into Vampires, as Klaus told me. That was in 1001, a few days before I had gone back to Mystic Falls and before I met the Mikaelson family. Esther liked me, a lot, she always wanted Klaus and I to get married, we just laughed it off. For the first few weeks of being back to Mystic Falls no one had known what I was, but one time Kol found me draining the blood out of a 32-year-old woman who was named Elizabeth, but back to Esther. Esther had always thought that I was a Witch, I never believed her because one, I'm a Hybrid, I can't be a Witch and another species and two, because I think I couldn't be able to control it.
