Little Mermaid

SYRINIA'S P.O.V.

I was back in the water and swimming down when Kristanna and Hollie came rushing over to me.

I was about to say something when Hollie cut me off.

"There's a bunch of humans. There attacking. We think that it's because of the thing with the scuba divers last month. Dad is hurt. And he's not healing. And all the kids and babies are already safe. But most of the guards arent doing well. Whatever there using won't let the water heal us". Hollie said quickly.

We swam down to where everyone else was. I could hear explosions and screams. I swam faster.

When I could finally see I gasped.

Some caves were blown up and I could see mer-people laying on the ground, hurt. There were people in scuba gear and they had some type of weapon. It was a spear but it had green seaweed wrapped around it. It was Flfciayla. it's a type of seaweed that if we get touched by burns are skin and the water doesn't heel. If we eat it are bodies instantly starting burning.

"Remember the girl who was taken about 2 weeks ago. We think that they may have gotta her to tell them are weaknesses. Flfciayla". Kristanna said from beside me.

I started swimming towards them.

Hollie and Kristanna grabbed me.

"what are you doing? Are you crazy? You can't go down there? The mer-people down there cant be helped". Hollie asked.

"Those mer-people down there are my family and friends". I said sternly.

"All of you family is dead except me and dad. And even he is close to death". Hollie said.

"and I'm your only friend. We need to get out of here while we can". Kristanna said.

I sighed.

They were right.

But who was I to leave people that I care about to die?

I pulled out of there grip and swam down.

I noticed a girl with blond hair laying on the sand. She was clutching her stomach. She looked about 15. I swam over to her and picked her up. I brought her to my cave and set her down. My cave wasn hidden so the humans wouldn't see it.

"stay here". I said and swam off.

I brought about 5 more people there. Even of they only had little cuts. I told them if they weren't hurt badly to try and do whatever it takes to help the badly injured.

I let my shark teeth to come out and the freaky eyes just to scare whoever else is gonna mess with me off. I was swimming threw when I saw a guy with a spear. He looked young. Younger then most of the guys. He looked like he was 15. Why would someone so young be here.

I went up behind him and knocked the spear out of his hands. It dropped and he turned quickly. He somehow got me in a headlock and I elbowed him in the face. His grip loosed and I slipped out. I grabbed his wrist which was about to punch me and twisted it. He cried out in pain. I pulled him into a small cave and moved a rock in tr way so he couldn't get out. I opened a few clams for light. It was dim but worked.

I pushed him against the wall. And I pushed all the water out of the cave. I sat on the ground and waited for my legs. Soon they came and when they did the guy gasped. I chuckled. Stupid human. I stood up and walked towards him. He backed up and hit the wall. I chuckled again.

"if you come any closer I will kill you". He said unsure.

I laughed. "wow. You really are stupid".
