Kou View
I smile as I walk into school. Todays the day! I ask Aris out today. Moku had left early this morning because he had a test to take
“Moku!”
He looks at me as I wave to him
“H-hey kou…”
I shake my head,
“What’s wrong?”
He smiles at me and points to Aris, who is alone
“If you want to ask her now is the time”
I smile, but then remember, Moku has a girlfriend, but when I asked him if he had anyone he liked he said yea, normally he would have pointed out his girlfriend with a ‘duh’ I frown but shake it off
“Your right!”
I start walking towards Aris when a group of girls huddle around me
“Kou!”
“Kou! Can we talk to you?”
I frown, since when did I become so popular? I flash a shy smile
“Um hello, do you guys need something?”
They smile at me and nod, a blonde grabs me and drags me away from Aris
“Where are we going?!”
One of the girls who was staring at the blonde with menace looks at me and smiles
“To the gym silly! Betrice has something she wants to show you!”
I freeze, the one encounter I was dreading.
“What it is?”
The girls shrug and continue to drag me along. When we get to the gym they shove me through the open doors.
“Kou!”
Betrice jumps at me with a tackle-hug. I give her a light hug and frown, switching to a small smile when she stops hugging me to look at my face.
“Er hi Betrice, how are you?
She smiles and taps my chest
“I’m good, I was just waiting for you to show up! So Moku slept over again?”
I sigh and frown
“Yes Betrice, he’s my best friend and there is nothing wrong with him sleeping over, do we have to go over this again?”
She give a little pout and turns around
“No I guess not. I heard you had something to say to me?”
I shake my head and mumble
“Damn you Moku”
“Yes I have something to say, Betrice, you treat me like shit. You walk over me and never give a word of thanks for what I do for you…”
She looks at the ground
“What are you saying?”
Cliché much?
“I think you know”
She whirls around
“Damn it Kou! Why can’t you ever say what you mean? Is it that hard to tell someone that you don’t want to be with them anymore?!”
I growl
“Damn it Betrice! You want me to say what I mean?! I hate you! I’ve hated you for so long! You treat me like shit and expect me to take it!? Really!?”
I take a breath
“I’m breaking up with you, don’t ever talk to me again”
She tears up as I storm out of the gym. Moku follows me as I storm down the hall
“You blew up didn’t you…?”
I Sigh, I hadn’t meant to hurt her feelings, that was something I was trying not to do, but then she had to go and ask a question she knew the answer to
“Damn it Moku why can’t I do anything right? If I can’t be gentle with Betrice what right do I have to pin for Aris?”
Moku looks on
“I’m sorry… I don’t have an answer”
