When Jungkook slams the door shut and locks it, he's quick to grab Seokjin's medication and the water bottle off of the bed, quickly giving it to the male and watching with a nervous look in his eyes as he stares. Does Jungkook like Seokjin? No. The other made him wait 4 grueling years in high school, leading him on that entire time, just to reject him. The other was working for an establishment that was clearly treating guests with more than one soulmate as fucking experiments of some sort, and they seem to keep popping into Jungkook's life no matter how much Jungkook just tries to forget. But, despite not liking him, that doesn't mean he's just going to sit on the sidelines and watch as Seokjin suffers in pain from the withdrawal attack.

It was scary seeing it happen. Like, Jungkook had seen it happen before. They all had. But this time, only Jungkook was doing something about it. Jungkook doesn't know what a withdrawal attack is like, what it feels like, but the way that Seokjin's eyes widened and the way the other jumped in their chair was enough motivation for Jungkook to help him.

So, the young male had quickly grabbed Seokjin's chair, pulling him away from getting closer to Namjoon, and tried to get the medication and just give it to him. The only problem that Jungkook faced was his soulmates screaming and yelling at each other, which made it significantly harder to open the damn bottle.

So now, after Seokjin was able to calm down from the withdrawal attack, they sit in silence. Jungkook on the bed and Seokjin in the chair that faces the bed. The younger of the two stares up at the ceiling, one of his hands resting behind his head as he stares at the smoothness of it. It was crazy to think that this resort was supposed to be some sort of paradise. A place for people seeking true love to go and have fun while looking for their destined soulmate. Jungkook came here with an open mind and ready to find who he considers his second piece.

Now he just wishes to leave with all of his soulmates intact.

Jungkook knows that when he's alone with his thoughts, things begin to get scary, and when he starts thinking about that terrifying night where he fought for his life, his eyes water. He can remember that night like it had happened just last night. The way that the man's eyes pierced through him with insanity. The way the man looked to be in euphoria to see the fear in Jungkook's body language. Jungkook will always fail to understand how the man could've felt any joy from that. How anybody could feel such joy from seeing another human- hell- even an animal in such fear or distress. It's disgusting, and Jungkook doesn't realize he's shaking until he can hear that damn comforting voice again.

"Jungkook, can you stay with me, please?" Seokjin asks, his voice soft and considerate. The other was able to get over their attack, now trying to help the other male with his own. Jungkook curls in on himself on the bed, his body never ceasing the shaking. The tears on his face fall without fail, and his mind begins to cloud with such terrible thoughts. Seokjin stares, and even though his face is calm, the amount of pain he's in just seeing Jungkook in this state hurts him. Physically and emotionally.

"Jungkook-ah, please," Seokjin calls out, his voice still calm but a little louder this time. Trying to get through to the shaking male on the bed. But it was like Jungkook just couldn't hear him. And Seokjin just desperately wants to go to him and hold him. Take the tremoring body into his arms and takes away the feeling. But Seokjin knows he can't.

He lost that chance years ago.

"Why?" Jungkook's voice is soft and surprisingly calm despite their shaking. Seokjin looks up, befuddled as to why the other had suddenly actually started talking to him. Seokjin presumed it would be a completely one-sided conversation, so this was a pleasant surprise. If one could even call it that.

"What?" Seokjin asks, and Jungkook stares at the other with an unreadable look in his eyes. Seokjin swallows hard, licking his lips as he tries to assume what the other meant before they even spoke.
