"Can we talk about our relationship?"

Everyone's heads, even Seokjin's turns to the shortest male, who plays with the sleeves of his hoodie nervously. Taehyung wants to scoop the male up into his arms and cuddle him close while everyone else awe's at the sight of the pink-haired male biting his plush bottom lip. Namjoon smiles gently.

"Of course." He says, and his eyes wander to Seokjin for a second. He can see a complicated emotion in Seokjin's eyes, but the eldest male masks his emotions well, and when he sees Namjoon looking at him, he's quick to look away. When the man looks away, Namjoon opens a drawer and pulls a sheet of paper from a binder, grabbing a pen and sitting down at the dining room table. Hoseok and Taehyung grab the other two chairs (the third being occupied by the one and only Seokjin), and Jimin seeks refuge on Taehyung's lap while Hoseok practically pulls Yoongi down into his own. Yoongi blushes heavily and looks away, unaware of the firey gazes that Hoseok and Namjoon sent each other's way. Jungkook just opts to stand on the opposite side of the table. Away from Seokjin.

This doesn't go unnoticed by Seokjin himself, but he doesn't say a word.

"Obviously, this relationship is made up of six people," Namjoon says, writing down all six of their names in a circle on the piece of paper. He then looks up. "Science has made it seem that there needs to be a natural moment where two soulmates show their true selves to one another, but that isn't exactly going to be the case for us."

Namjoon then draws a line in between him and Jungkook's name. "Kook and I matched when Jungkook was honest with me, even though he was afraid of possible consequences." He explains, and Jungkook blushes and rubs the back of his neck. Seokjin, while he would never admit it, feels some sort of way when Namjoon says that. He swallows hard and turns away again. Unfortunately, his ears are still wide open to hear.

"After that, we match, cool. Our marks are made." He says, writing the word 'honesty' on the line that he had created. Yoongi and Jungkook were already familiar with this system by now, but Jimin, Taehyung, and Hoseok looked extremely intrigued with where this was going. "But then I match with Yoongi," he says, drawing a line between him and Yoongi's name. Now, no one missed the way that Namjoon glanced up and gazed at Hoseok. It was a second, a really short second, but it was enough to tell everyone about the silent feud between the two. It was kinda hot.

"Me and Yoongi match after I had commented on his music, so I had presumed that we matched because of honesty again," he stares at the paper for a second, then licking his lips. "But I realize now that things are definitely a little more complicated than that. For us, at least."

Namjoon pauses for a moment, simply staring at the picture. But then he continues again. "The this specific calling, I'm going to call it a 'key', isn't shared between two people in a relationship." He says, turning the paper slightly so he could properly write on the line connecting him to Yoongi when he needed to. "Science only tells us that because when only two people in a relationship match..."

"You can only match for one reason." Jimin completes softly, and Namjoon smiles. Thank goodness they were understanding what he was trying to convey.

"That's why we're special. While regular couples can only match once and that's it, we can match multiple times. And we all have different keys that cause our matchings." He says, looking at Yoongi with a genuine smile.

"Hyung, that day at the cafe, when I had complimented your music," he starts, and Yoongi tenses slightly. He can feel Hoseok tense too. "You were extremely grateful for the fact that I appreciated your work, correct? Happy that someone recognized your talent other than you?" Namjoon asks, and Yoongi swallows hard.

All eyes (save for Seokjin), were on him. And the attention felt overwhelming. But... not as overwhelming as he thought it would be. He feels rather at home with these people. Even with Seokjin sitting in the chair tied up, he was still feeling calm throughout. These were the joys of having soulmates.
