Not Switched at birth

Daphne was on her way home from Buckner Hall with her brother Toby. They saw two people signing and since Daphne is also deaf they pulled over to talk to them. There was a boy and a girl. Looked about the same age as Daphne. Daphne signed to them "Hello I saw you guys signing so I pulled over since your deaf right?"

They handsome man said " Yeah, we are I'm E-M-M-E-T-T and this is B-A-Y" Daphne said "I'm D-A-P-H-N-E and this is my brother T-O-B-Y" they continued signing. Then they started taking about school. Daphne asked "Where do you guys go to school? I go to Buckner Hall. It's a very good school. It's just hard for me because I have an interpreter following me around all day." Emmett signed "Well we go to Carlton school for the Deaf. It's a really good school all deaf people go there" Daphne was thinking hmm a school for just deaf people. I wont have an interpreter following me around all day long. I want to ask my parents: John and Kathryn about it. Daphne finally said " Hey Toby, do you think mom and dad would be mad if I don't go to Buckner? I want to go to this school."

You could see Emmett have a smile on his face. Bay finally signed "That would be so nice if you went to our school! We would get to know each other! We could even be best friends." Daphne said that she had to go home. She lived in a mansion in Mission Hills. Bay on the other hand lived in a small, not safe house in Eastriver Side. When Daphne left Emmett gave Bay a kiss on her soft delicate lips. Daphne was watching them and in her mind she said I wish they weren't dating they make a cute couple but I just really wanted to be Emmetts girlfriend. Even though we just met he's just so cute! I want to love him. When we finally Daphne got home and she asked her parents if she could go to an all deaf school. John said "How did you find out about Carlton?" Daphne signed back I never said it's name was Carlton. How'd you know?" Kathryn said "Yeah John how come you never told me about this either? Daphne you can go to this school. I am so sorry that your father hid this from us. Who told you anyway?" Daphne replied happily "Well on our way back from school Toby and I saw this cute couple and they we signing. We knew that they were deaf so we pulled over and talked to them."

"They sound like they are nice people. You should invite them for dinner next time you see them. Them and their families." Kathryn said. Daphne forgot to mention that Emmett rides a motorcycle and she knew her parents hated anything about motorcycles. Daphne couldn't wait until the dinner. The next day Daphne went to Carlton school for the deaf and she found the cute couple. She invited them for dinner and gave them her address. They said it would be fun to go and they'll be there. Daphne thought to herself wow I'm very lucky to have found people like this and they introduced me to this wonderful school filled with wonderful people. I can't wait to spend the rest of high school at this school. Daphne met Melody little did she know it was Emmett's very own mother. She found out during the dinner.
