While looking out from the window of the Reserve Course building, a lone teacher took out her phone and dialled a familiar number. The crisp morning air was especially chilling in autumn, but it was nothing compared to the chills down her spine. The school's mysteries were never benevolent, and she didn't know what she should expect. She put it to her ear and took a deep breath, readying herself for talking to her crush again.

The person she was calling answered the phone. "You usually don't call this early, Yukizome. Did you find anything?"

"Jeez, Kyosuke! How many times have I told you to just call me Chisa?" She giggled, before returning to her serious demeanour. "It's more of a question about some files I found. They're not related to the secret of the school that we're searching for...I think."

Kyosuke was silent for a moment, and the sound of a laptop starting could be heard in the background. Finally, he spoke again. "What did you find?"

"Some files I found in the back room in two folders. They were on top of a few boxes and they were labeled '79-A' and '79-B'. They were student profiles, but something's been bugging me about them." Chisa explained.

"Hold on a second." The sound of rapid tapping on a keyboard filled the audio as Kyosuke searched for answers.

Chisa didn't stop there. "The class that should be coming in this year should be Class 78th. So why are two whole classes already filled with students of age to attend?" She asked.

After a bit of silence, he began speaking. "According to what it says here, these classes are to be transferred to the overseas campus as soon as construction has finished and teachers can be hired. Until then, they will be attending Hope's Peak Academy in the main building." Kyosuke read aloud.

"When did they come up with this plan?" Chisa wondered.

"It was declared along with the construction plans, though you weren't there for that."

"When did they pick the students?"

"Last week, but not to worry. Their acceptance letters have already been written, though eight of the newcomers haven't been found yet."

"What?! They haven't been found?!" Chisa exclaimed. "How could you find students only to lose them again?!"

The Former Ultimate sighed. "My guess is that some of them don't have the best living conditions. We can get to at least two of them, we just need to find them at the right moment. For the others, security cameras will have to be used. I believe the missing students are homeless, so that's why they're difficult to find. Once we find them though, the letters will be delivered all at once."

"Oh... Those poor things..." Chisa went quiet after that. Suddenly, the bell rang and signalled the students to enter the building and go to their respective classes. "Sorry, I have to go."

"Good luck investigating. Try to stay safe." Kyosuke replied.

"Thanks, you t-" Chisa was suddenly interrupted by the phone line getting cut as the other hung up. The housekeeper huffed at the phone. "You're a butt, you know that?"
