The past few weeks have been hell for me considering that I started my home classes earlier, hardly ever had time to go to the gym and my weight was increasing drastically. This resulted in me going back to rummage my room for my psyllium tablets. I was forced to put those away when my weight was said to be incredibly 'low'. It wasn't

Before going downstairs that morning, I tossed two tablets in my mouth and gulped it down with tap water. Daniel had made breakfast of toast with sausages and coffee, I scowled when I got to the dining table.

"Morning, sunshine," he said sarcastically when he noticed my scowling face. I stuck my tongue out at him and he shot me a look of disapproval. Daniel can be very uptight sometimes. I glanced at Bradley who was very focused on finishing his breakfast as he also furiously typed away on his phone.

"Hey" I greeted and when he opened his mouth to respond, his phone rang and he paused, stared at it for a while before picking it up. His jaw was set and his eyes looked worried.

"Yes, it is" he replied to the person on the other line. He listened in for a while more "I don't get the problem here" He ran a hand through his hair, his brows furrowing in anger as he listened before pinching the skin between his eyes "You guys had only one fucking job" his voice raised and I stared at him in concern. My first guess was that this was about Stanley. "You're shitting me, right?" he spoke again, listened some more then hung up.

He stood from his seat and Daniel stopped him "I'll drive you" he offered

"Nah" he mumbled "My van's outside. Thanks"

Then he grabbed his keys from the counter before racing for the door. Without thinking twice, I followed him

"Bradley!" I called and he turned around, his grey eyes hard.

"Can I come with you?" I asked

"Yes?" the receptionist peered at us from underneath her dark horn rimmed glasses.

"Stanley Knight" Bradley responded beside me, voice harsh and unfriendly. The receptionist flinched, pushing her glasses up her nose before looking at the laptop in front of her. She typed for a while then looked at us again. Me in particular.

"Okay. You are?"

"Um-" "A friend. Stanley's friend" Bradley and I said at the same time. I looked at him, his gaze was fixed on the receptionist.

She looked flustered "O-Okay. Isolating room"

When Bradley didn't move, she said "Second floor, first room on your left"

He nodded and began walking while I followed. "Where is this place?" I asked.

"Its like a schooling system......for children like Stanley" he muttered. We walked a little more before stopping at a door.

"Am I- Should I.....come in?" I asked as he pulled at the door knob

"No, wait here" he replied before stepping in and shutting the door. Well then.

After a long while of me waiting outside for Bradley without any signs of either him or even Stanley. I began to grow impatient. What was taking him so long? Minutes after, the door pushed open and Bradley stepped out holding a sleeping Stanley in his arms

"Sorry" he mumbled to me, his grey eyes softening a bit.

"Its fine" I replied and smiled but he didn't return it. He began taking long strides back towards the reception and I followed.

I hesitated a bit, then asked "What happened?"

He didn't look at me "He got violent, attacked his mates"

I didn't say anything.

Once we reached the reception, the lady looked up at us, a small sigh escaping through her lips.

"Yes?"

"I'm getting him checked out" Bradley replied.

"Okay, your pass?" She asked, not meeting his hard gaze.

"I don't have one" he bit out

She looked exasperated, he really was giving her a hard time "You cant leave with him without having a pass, sir"

"Can I get him checked out now?" he snapped and I flinched. Why was he being so harsh?

"S-sure" she turned to her laptop and typed furiously for a while before looking at us again "When is he coming back?"

"Not anytime soon"

"You need to give me a specific date, I cant just type that in here"

He didn't respond, just stared back at her. After a while, she broke off the stare down and sighed.

"Done. You can leave now"
