10/26/20-

'From the first blush of dawn, until the closing of the twilight,' -taken from Sherlock Homes, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle(original version)

Morning dew settles on foliage,

Bumblebees flutter from flower to flower,

Collecting amber pollen,

The morning dew evaporates quickly,

Leaving the sun to shine upon a fair day,

With beams of sunlight,

That flutter like distinguished little golden butterflies,

Clouds cavort as the day continues,

The sky gets dimmer,

Now the sun sets,

What a wonderful sight,

Splashes of scarlet,

Orange,

Yellow,

The sky fades into dark hue,

Stars shimmer through the blanket of darkness,

The moon,

Merely a pale sphere,

And seeming to float above us,

Now,

As many might not think of,

Sometimes because of ignorance and naivety,

Other times for other reasons,

Forget that,

Life is not one,

So treat it as if every day was one lifetime,

Of youth and frivolity,

From dawn to twilight

Recently, i have been engrossed in poetry, so i decided to create this volume of poems. I hope to write with flair, unlike my other pieces of writing, and i hope that i can receive some constructive criticism on my poems. I accept requests, but i might decline them if i can't do them.

Also, if any of you reading would like for me to add a vocabulary key for words that i add but others might have trouble with, please tell me in the comments.

┏━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┓

Vocabulary Key:

Foliage- Leaves of a plant

Dew- Water in the form of droplets, usually found

in the morning on plants

┗━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━┛

A example of a key might be like this^

-Sheep
