10/26/20-
I rest my arms on the windowsill,
Looking out into the outside vicinity,
All seems uneventful,
Not even a leaf flutters down to the ground,
Not even a sound is being made,
At least not from what i can hear,
Even though it is the middle of the day,
I start feeling drowsy,
As my eyelids start to close,
I get whisked away to a dream,
As i find myself in a world of plainly white,
I see no sign of life except for myself,
I walk around,
But i see no end to this horror,
I curl up in the middle,
Or if anywhere,
That is something that i can say,
And close my eyes and wait for this nightmare to end,
Not being able to look at the searing white of my surroundings,
A jolt suddenly jolts me back to reality,
And i open my eyes abruptly,
To find myself curled up in a ball,
Under the windowsill that i had been looking out from
I've decided to make a vocabulary key for each poem either way(unless there isn't any confusing vocabulary), since i probably won't be publishing these poems the same day as they were written. So here is the key(i will just have the key under the poem from now on, so i suggest that you open two tabs, and split your screen so you can see the key and the poem itself):
