32. Officially we were just friends

I've been living back in LA for several days. I broke up with Noah, explaining the whole situation to him. He understood this, respected my decision, behaved very maturely, and officially we were just friends.

I sit in my comfy white armchair, drinking hot cocoa and watching fashion shows on TV. Dream afternoon right? Suddenly I heard a knock on the door. I put my mug back on the bench and headed for the door. Bryce appeared to me with his lip cut.

- What happened? - I asked with concern, letting him inside my apartment

- A fight. Nothing interesting. - He replied calmly, putting his phone on the dresser and settling comfortably on the couch

I sat down next to him without hesitation. His gaze shifted to me right away, and Hall started analyzing every aspect of me (he often does). I chuckled at his glances. He patted me gently and then started browsing TV channels for soccer games. Of course, he found something perfect for himself and focused only on that. I, on the other hand, was focused only on him.

*2 hours later*
Bryce is already watching the second game, still not paying attention to me, which overwhelms me a bit. I like to have him close to me and I would like him to pay attention to me. I started to sigh gently, he continued to ignore me. Then I sighed even louder, still getting no answer from him. Only after a while, he looked at me, making a confused face.

- What do you want? - He asked looking straight at me

- your attention. - I announced

- But I'm here ...-  Hall still didn't understand me

- You are, but you are with soccer. - I pretended to be offended

He laughed a little and then hugged me to him, making me feel incredibly happy with this gesture. He stroked me with one hand, delicately on my head, and I cuddled up against him like a typical bear.

Suddenly, I gently lifted my head to meet his eyes and spoke.

- Bryce, what would you change in me? - I asked, wondering about my character and appearance

- Nothing . - he replied looking at me

- But if you had to ... Answer me please. - I waited for his honest opinion which I needed

- I'd change your last name to my last name. - He replied looking at me tenderly

At that moment my heart felt incredibly warm. That's probably the most romantic thing Bryce has ever said to me. I cuddled closer to him and he smiled slightly, proud of what he said. I took another sip of cocoa, which I forgot for a moment. After the drink was finished, I took the mug to the kitchen to wash it in the dishwasher along with other dirty dishes. Then I went to the bathroom to shower, leaving Bryce alone in the living room. I undressed, putting the clothes on an empty shelf, then stepped into the shower cubicle, letting the water droplets relax my body. The warm water made a gentle shiver through my body. Suddenly, I heard the cabin door open, and in front of me I saw my boyfriend.

- What are you doing? he asked as if he hadn't seen

- I'm taking a shower. - I replied

- Without me? I'm joining. - He replied immediately taking off all clothes

*Half hour later*
After taking a bath together, we put on comfortable pajamas and set off to prepare dinner. Bryce sat back in the living room to watch something again while I made the sandwiches and took them to him. We started eating.

After the meal was over, Hall set our dishes down and returned to me.

- Addison, you know you haven't kissed me once today? - Bryce replied in disappointment
