24. I'm afraid

There is another day. Currently I am in my apartment, I slept for 4 hours. I just finished eating. I'll be right back at the hospital. I'm waiting for Charli to pick me up by car. I went outside the building. My friend was already waiting for me in the parking lot. We got into the car. We arrived about 15 minutes later. We immediately went to the floor where Bryce is located. I sat down on the chair. As it turns out, Hall's condition is still not good, and I'm getting more and more afraid with each passing moment. Suddenly a doctor approached us. We greeted him right away.

- Are there any details of the accident?- Charli asked worriedly

- Yes. The patient was riding a motorcycle. We don't know where. He was probably going too fast. He fell on a very hard surface. He has a head injury and a lot of wounds on his body. - he said

- Oh my God. - I grabbed my head with my hand

- We're trying very hard. I can tell you that the patient's condition is a little better than yesterday. I have another, unfortunately, negative information. It is very likely that the patient will not remember anything after waking up.- doctor said sadly

Seeing our expressions, he left without a word. I sat down immediately. I was starting to feel faint from my nerves. How can Bryce lose his memory ?! I broke down. It couldn't be worse! Charli was hugging me tightly, trying to comfort me, but it was practically impossible. After a while, a nurse approached us and allowed me to enter the room again. I slowly got up and entered the room where Bryce is. Again, when I saw him, tears started running down my cheeks. I sat down in the chair next to his bed. I grabbed his pale hand.

- Bryce, you don't even know how much I wish you were all right now. I miss you. I would like so much to talk to you right now and clarify many things. But that's impossible now. - I whispered looking at his pale face full of dressings.

I stroked his hand. I wiped my tears away.

- I love you. - I whispered again

I started walking towards the exit from the room. I had a million thoughts in my head, but suddenly I heard it.

- I love you. - someone said weak voice

I looked quickly at Bryce's bed. His eyes were gently open. He woke up! You can see that he is terribly weakened. I quickly ran to the doctors and nurses. They told me to leave the room and said that now they must examine him and administer drugs. I went out into the corridor. I immediately told Charli and Chase what had happened. I couldn't believe that! It's a miracle! I felt a great relief. Bryce has woken up and hasn't lost his memory yet! I couldn't wait to get in again.  They let us in but said Bryce was asleep so we could sit next to him. All three of us entered the room. Each of us sat in a different place. I am traditionally on the chair next to his bed. I sat and stared at him, smiling this time.
