Peter's PoV

That was definitely not what I was expecting. I solved the problems on the board, like I was supposed to. Then, Mr. Stark calls in THE Dr. Banner. I was trying my best not to fanboy, but it almost slipped out. I should probably save that for later.

Then, Dr. Banner and Mr. Stark started praising me. Puny parker, the stupid nerd. By this time, I was bright red. The last time I was praised like this was when Uncle Ben was alive. I feel a pang of sadness in my heart.

I'm snapped out of my thoughts by Mr. Stark suggesting we go get food. Well, not exactly suggesting, more like declaring. I try to protest immediately. Mr. Stark is too important to feed. Me. i'm sure he has better things to do.

Of course my stomach has other ideas. A loud growl cuts me off. Oops. I turn bright red. Now would be a nice time to sink into the floor.

Mr. Stark asked me when the last time I ate was. I freeze upa bit, and mumble a quiet "two days." Yesterday I skipped breakfast to get to school, then Flash stole my lunch money, then I stayed up too late playing Minecraft with Ned, then fell asleep. This morning I skipped breakfast and forgot my lunch money. Whoops.

Mr. Stark just guides me to the elevator.

It's really awkward in there. Then the bell dings, and we step out into one of the coolest spaces I have ever been in. In one corner, there are loads of couches and chairs that look soft enough to sink into. Randomly placed around the area are tall stacks of folded blankets. The whole selection made me want to curl up in a blanket and sleep.

Against the opposite wall was a large kitchen. All of the appliances were top of the line, and there were 4 different ovens. The fridge was really, really big, and there was a pile of blankets on top of it. It appeared to be a ...nest?...

Sitting on one of the chairs was a man I had never seen before. He has black hair with a streak of white, and was wearing a large red cape that seemed to be moving on its own. The man was sipping a cup of some sort of liquid while reading a book.

He looked up as we walked in, and Mr. Stark made a beeline for him. I was shocked when they kissed softly. Since I quickly looked away, I missed the red fabric hurtling towards me. It scooped me up softly, and I let out a little yelp.

Both of the older men looked up at me, and Mr. Stark smirked slightly. The stranger stood, and said "Levi, come."

I was confused for a second, but then the cloak floated over to him. Still carrying me. I pouted a bit, and squirmed around. The cloak, who I guessed was Levi, placed me gently on the ground and patted me on the head.

The two of us just stared at each other for a second, before the Super Tall Man , as I dubbed him, turned to Mr. Stark, who had headed to the kitchen.

"Honey, who is he?"

Mr. Stark turned back to us.

"Him? Oh, that's Peter. He's my new personal intern. He's really smart, and he has not eaten in two days."

Wow, way to call me out, Mr. Stark. The STM just turned back to me with his eyebrows raised. I flushed red again.

"Hello there. I am Dr. Stephan Strange, Tony's husband. Nice to meet you, Peter." he held out his hands to shake. I noticed that his hands were slightly red and shaky. I shook his hand, but saw the look on his face. The "mom look." I get it a lot when Ned's mom finds out I don't eat much.

"Child, you should really eat more. Note eating for two days isn't healthy."

I was about to protest when I smelled something burning. My head snapped in the direction of the kitchen. Dr. Strange sir followed my gaze and sighed. "Tony, what's burning?"

The man in question just chuckled nervously. "Just my burning love for you as always?" It sounded more like a question than anything.

Dr. Strange sir walked over to the kitchen and grabbed the fire extinguisher. "Tony, I can see the toaster fire. Move."

After the fire has been sprayed, and toast had been made with the backup toaster, we all sat down at one of the huge tables. After taking a few bites of my toast in silence, I asked "why do you even have a backup toaster in the first place?"

Mr. Stark snorted, and Dr. Strange sir chuckled and answered. "Thor-"

"The god Thor?! That Thor?"

Dr. Strange sir nodded. "Yes, that Thor. Anyway, he is fond of Pop-Tarts. Whenever he visits, he eats a ton of them."

Tony muttered under his breath "how is he not fat yet?" and I giggled a little.

"He and earth technology do not get along, so he has a bad habit of blowing up toasters." He gets up and walks over to a cabinet, opening it to reveal at least four different toasters. "See? If Tony was not a billionaire, we would be broke by now."

At this point I was laughing. Through my giggles, I managed to ask "what about the fridge nest?"

Dr. Strange sir just gave me a soft smile.

Stephan PoV

When Pepper told me about her intern idea, I was a bit skeptical. What if someone worked with us, and then ended up running off with our ideas? That would not help Tony's trust issues at all.

Of course, I then had to help vet the applications. I remember seeing Peter's folder. Not all of the details, but he seemed smart enough. Even though Tony only picked him for his IQ, I have a feeling that this child will be a huge part of our family.

Plus, He got Tony to laugh. A lot. Normally, he only laughs when the two of us are alone.

I look forward to seeing what he will accomplish.

Huge shout-out to @HolyBrains7 for being the first person to direct message me, and then continue to give me feedback when I ran my ideas by them.

Also, shout-out to @SneakyNinja_Gold for voting on all of my chapters.
