It was the next morning after we had the engagement party when I woke up to find Owen wasn't in bed. I rub the sleep out of my eyes to see Owen on the phone with someone who was clearly pissing him off. I walked up to him and grabbed the phone out of his hand with a look that he now knows is not a look he ever wants to see again. I put the phone against my shoulder so whoever called him wouldn't hear.

"Who's on the other end?"

"A crazy ex-girlfriend who won't take the hint that you and I are getting married as well as excepting a baby soon." Said Owen

"Okay, go get me a ginger ale while I put this bitch in her place."

"That's one reason why I love you." Said Owen

As Owen went to get me some ginger ale, I put his phone against my ear to hear the crazy ex-girlfriend's voice. I cleared my throat to make the bitch know that she messed with the wrong woman.

"Who is this and why are you calling my fiancée?"

"The name is Monica and I'm calling Owen to see if he wanted to visit me since I'm in London." Said Monica

"Okay, listen here, you bitch and listen good. Owen is now going to be a husband and a father soon because I'm carrying his child and has a nice diamond ring on my finger. So, I highly suggest that you delete his number from your phone and block it before I have your number traced to find you and gut you like a fish. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes ma'am. I didn't know that he was telling the truth. I'm sorry to have bothered you. I won't contact him ever again." Said Monica

"Good. Bye."

I ended the call just as Owen walked into the room with a glass of ginger ale. I took the ginger ale and took a drink before I handed Owen his phone back. I gave him a wink when he had a confused look on his face.

"Did you get her to leave us alone?" Said Owen

"I did more than that."

"God, I love you." Said Owen

"Hey no one doesn't try to take my man away and gets away with it."

"Your brother called earlier to schedule a fitting for tuxedos for the men and I told this afternoon is fine. Mia and the girls will be here soon to have lunch with you and to discuss some of the wedding planning. Even my mother will be over to discuss wedding locations." Said Owen

"Okay. I should take a shower and be ready for when they get here."

"If you ever need help just call for me." Said Owen

"I'm only a few weeks pregnant, so I can manage a quick shower."

"Okay, just be careful when shaving your legs. I did buy you a women's electric razor to shave with just to be safe." Said Owen

"Thanks babe."

I went to the bathroom to get ready for my shower. As I was in the shower, I heard Owen talking to someone. Once I got done with my shower and got dressed, I walked out into the living room to see Brian and Dom talking to Owen.

"Hey Brian, Dom. What brings you two here?"

"We're just picking Owen up to get tuxedo fittings done." Said Brian

"Oh. Okay. Have fun and Brian, please try not to kill Owen."

"After finding out the truth about Owen, I won't kill him." Said Brian

"Brian, I'm serious. What Owen did wasn't really his fault."

"Care, I know. Mia been talking to me about it and you're right we must move on from that. So, Dom and I are going to enjoy spending time with Owen and work out so more wedding details on our end okay. Don't worry too much, it's not good on the baby." Said Brian

"Where's the beautiful bride to be?" Said Mia as she came in with the girls

"In the kitchen, Mia. Making tea and cookies for everyone. I hope you like this Magdalene."

"Of course, dear. It's just I didn't know that you could bake?" Said Magdalene

"I love to bake. Just ask Owen, he started to develop a sweet tooth for my butter scotch chocolate brownies."

"Brian, we should be getting to the fitting. Mia, could you please keep an eye on Care and call me if anything happens?" Said Owen

"Of course, Owen. Enjoy dealing with Brian for the whole afternoon." Said Mia

"We'll be back before dinner. I love you, Care." Said Owen

"Love you too and be safe."

"I will. Mum please help Mia with keeping an eye on Care. The morning sickness is still pretty bad." Said Owen

"How about I call the doctors and help set up appointments?" Said Magdalene

"Thank you, Mum." Said Owen

After Owen left with Dom and Brian, I was in the living room working on a necklace design for the wedding. Everything was going great with the girl and I until Letty's phone started to ring. I had a feeling that something was wrong just by the sound of her voice. She ended the call and looked at Magdalene with a knowing look of what's going to happen.

"Queenie, Dom just saw someone that we know and is coming after all of us including Care. Owen and Dom, thinks it would be best if you take Care to your mansion to keep her safe." Said Letty

"Who did they see, Letty?" Said Mia as she stood next to me

"Your brother, Jacob." Said Letty

"I'll go pack Care a bag." Said Mia

I see Mia going into my room to pack a bag for me when Magdalene came up to me. I was about to panic until Own came rushing into the apartment. Owen came up to me and pulled me into a protective embrace.

"Care don't panic alright. My mum, Deckard, and Hattie will never let anything happen to you or the baby. We will get married even if we must do it early." Said Owen

"I'm just worried because we got rid of Cipher and were finally happy. Now we have to deal with Dom and Mia's brother."

"I know love but, we will be happy once this is all over. Now go with my mother and I'll be there soon okay." Said Owen

"Owen, you don't have to do this." Said Dom

"We're family now and we never turn our back on family even if they turn their back on us." Said Owen

"You taught him well, Care." Said Dom

"I have a bag packed for her. Please take care of yourself, Care." Said Mia

"I will and have Owen bring the kids to the Mansion. We'll look out for them, right Magdalene."

"Of course. Care and I will keep them safe." Said Magdalene

"Mum, we have to hurry and get Care to the Mansion safely." Said Owen

I walked out to Magdalene's car with Owen beside me. Owen opened the door for me as I stood in front of it before getting in the car. Owen placed a hand on my stomach and I placed my hand on top of it. 

"Please be careful when driving home?" 

"I will. Please don't worry too much. It's not good on the baby." Said Owen

"I...love...you Owen." I said holding back tears

"I love you too, Careoline." Said Owen

"Brother, I will look out for Care." Said Hattie

"Please don't let her out of your sight?" Said Owen

"I won't." Said Hattie

Owen helped me into the car before he closed the door. He gave me kiss while the window was rolled down before Magdalene drove off to the Mansion. Hattie and Magdalene noticed how scared I was when Hattie moved closer to me in the back seat and hugged me as the tears finally fall. I just finally found happiness and yet more threats keep coming our way.
