\\Chapter 1//
Alison P.O.V

"Ally can you believe it! This is our last year of high school! Finally, after this, no more fake bitches or annoying teachers!,"April yelled jumping up and down. It's a Tuesday and my first day of senior year. April and I have been best friends as long as I can remember. My mother use to be friends with her ma and we practically grew up together.

"Yay," I said balling my fist and sticking my thumb out. " Oh I almost forgot, lets go get our new schedules. I hope this year you'll be at least in one of my classes," I sat as I walk to the office to get our schedules.

For the past 3 years April and I haven't had a single class together! Geez, you would think at least one class but no such luck.

Anyway, I should probably introduce myself. My name is Alison Turner. I am 17 years old. I am 5 foot 6. I'm not rich but I'm not poor either. I have a enough money to buy things I want and when I want but I don't take advantage of that. My father's name is Greg Turner and my mother's name was Rose Turner.

My mother isn't with me anymore, she died in a car accident. It wasn't her fault, though.

It was caused by a drunk driver, who wasn't driving on the right side of the road. I was 12 when all this happened, after the incident my dad turned into a completely different person.

He went from being a nice, loving father to a stranger. He isn't always home, mostly because he travels a lot for business. It's been 5 years and every time he looks at me he gives me a look of disgust and regret. What hurts me the most is that he says he hates me and that I'm worthless. He doesn't even hug me or say I love you anymore. It really does hurt me but I don't show it because that's what he wants to see.

That is why I spent most of my time in the woods. You see I'm into archery, so I go deep into the woods and practice there with my dummies and targets that I have set up, I stay there for hours sometimes. I'm really good at it, too. I'm fast and I'm good at aiming, I almost never miss a target. I been in to archery sense the incident. I'm also into photography, I'm very good at that, too. I have an IQ of 147. I don't mean to brag or anything but I can remember a lot of things, numbers, things I've seen, things I've read, heard, voices which makes it way easier to study and have a easier time at school.

I don't have many friends. I spent most of my time with April. April and I are totally opposites but even though we're a lot different we get a long perfectly. April is always happy, cheerful she's beautiful compared to any other girl I have ever met. she's nice, she always makes me laugh, she's funny. She can make anyone laugh or even smile and she's up for anything. If someone tells her to bungee jump from the highest mountain in town right there, right then, she'll probably say " fuck yeah!". And of course she likes to party but she's not a slut. April is definitely the bad girl in the friendship.

Me on the other hand is a completely different story. When you first get to know I might seem harsh and cold but after a while I warm up. I'm calm and quiet most of the time, but if you mess with me or my friends you have another thing coming. I don't talk to strangers which is mostly everyone, sad but true. I don't like going to parties or getting drunk. I rather stay home, in my room reading some good books or go throw some bow and arrows. I haven't had a boyfriend or a first kiss, sad and lame, I know.

"Hello. We're here to get our new schedules. Alison Turner and April Mitchell, please," I say smiling politely to the middle age woman sitting at the front desk.

" Sure dear, just give me a second," she says as she types on her computer. When she stops, it's only to get up and get our schedules from the printer.

"Here you go, have a nice day, girls," she says with a polite smile handing us our schedules.

"Thank you, have a nice day too," April and I say at the same time and walk off to are classes. It turns out we have 3 classes together : AP math, AP science, and AP English. Which I am ever happy about because never once before did we get a class together. I also have lunch with her.
