"Y/N... Are you sleeping?"
"Yes"
"Oh hmmm... Never mind then."
I was just messing with her, but she sounds genuinely sad.
Wait why are we sleeping in the same room? And this «bed» feels far too cold...Oh wait-
On the bright side, you two found an inn. But it only had one bedroom available, with only one bed. So, you decided to sleep on the floor and let YunYun take the bed. After all, in the stables you would end up having to sleep on the floor anyway.
"What is it YunYun? If you can't sleep just count Destroyers, that's what I used to do when I was little."
"No it's just that-"
She hesitated and kept silent for a while. Her tone changed slightly, more emotional than before:
"Y/N we are friends now right?"
That's a weird thing to ask, but I guess so. After all she seems like a good mage and ignoring the whole stalker thingy she looks like a nice person. Who wouldn't want to befriend her?
"I guess? I had a good time today."
She stayed silent for a while...
For a whole minute actually.
Did she fall asleep?
"I... Just wanted to confirm something. I had a good time too, let's try to find that party tomorrow.... Together."
Why does it look like she is looking for approval in her own words?
"Sure. Good night YunYun."
*King Crimson noises because apparently his power is so confusing it can be used as a time skip*
Morning:
After giving YunYun some privacy, you got your clothes and left the inn. One breakfast with the Crimson Magic girl later, and you were now in front of a small magic store.
Merchants are always the best source of information. Granted, a lot of shopkeepers will only sell their precious intel if you buy an item first, but with the few coins you earned by killing the giant toads yesterday, that wasn't a problem.
When the bell rang, a good-looking young lady greeted you from behind the counter:
"Welcome! Are you looking for something in particular?"
