Chapter 4: The day with The Boys

Elena's POV

I wake up in the morning with Kol beside me. I remember last night. It was amazing! It was perfect! I saw a side of Kol that I had never seen before. He was so sweet. And he won me a big penguin!

I get up and go in to take a shower. When I get out Kol is gone. I walk downstairs and go into the kitchen. Kol, Nik, and Eli are in the kitchen making breakfast together.

Me: Aww how sweet! Look at my boys making me breakfast!

Eli: Anything for you Laney. Are you ready for the day?

Me: Yeah. What are we doing today?

Nik: Well Layna, we are gonna stay in and watch movies and order pizza. Then tonight we are gonna play board games when Bekah gets back from Matt's house.

After breakfast they took me into the living room. I sat on the couch between Eli and Nik. Kol sat down on the floor in front of me.

Kol: Ok Ellie, what do you want to watch.

Me: Uhm...Twilight!!!

Nik: Twilight it is then. Kol put it in.

Kol: Why do I have to do it.

Eli: Because Kol, you're the one on the floor

Kol put the movie in and we watch it. After that we pick to watch the movie The Hunger Games. Before the movie started we got resituated. We were all four laying down on the floor in front of the TV. We watched two more movies before Bek got back. When she came in she saw all four of us laying on the floor.

Bek: Uhm... what did I just walk in on?

The four of us bust up laughing.

Me: Nothing Bek. We have just been watching movies all day.

Bek: Aww how cute.

Kol, Nik, and Eli: Shut up Bekah!

Me: Ok Bek. Are you ready for a game night?

Bek: Game night?

Me: Yeah, it was your brothers idea.

We go into the dining room and get down the game Monopoly. Soon we are all laughing and carrying on. Kol won, of course. Then we play sorry. I'm starting to feel like a little kid again. Since there are only four players in sorry, I team up with Bek. We actually win!

Kol: That's not fair! You guys only won because there's two of you.

Nik: Leave the girls alone Kol. Your just mad because you were beat.

Kol: Whatever. Next is trouble and Ellie's on my team

We play trouble and Nik won. Then we all go into the livingroom to watch another movie. We all lay on the floor. I'm in between Bek and Eli with Kol beside Bek and Nik beside Eli and that's how we fall asleep.

The next day I wake up in the same position we fell asleep in. I start to wonder who I'm gonna be on a date with today. I think I want to go with Eli today. I wake Eli up.

Me: Eli, get up. Come on, we're going on a date today.

Eli: I'm up Laney. And I have the perfect place to go.

I run upstairs and change into a cute dress. It was pink with purple and white polka dots. I go back down to see Eli with shorts on and a short sleeve white shirt on. He sees me and laughs.

Eli: You're gonna have to go change Laney. That's not gonna work.

I run back up and change into a pair of blue short shorts and a blue tank top. I put my hair up in a ponytail. I go back down and Eli looks at me.

Eli: Much better. Lets go.

We get into the car and drive off.

Me: So where are we going?

Eli: It's a surprise Laney.

Me: You Mikaelson boys and your surprises.

We drive to a lake. I see a picnic basket and a blanket.

Me: A picnic by the lake?

Eli: Yepp, I thought it was romantic.

We get out of the car and go over and sit on the blanket. He brings out a loaf of bread, a pepperoni stick, a salami stick, and roast beef. For drinks he brought a bottle of red wine. We sat there eating and talking and laughing. After we were done eating we went and stood by the lake and looked out at it.

Me: It looks beautiful out here.

Eli: Yes it does. It's very calming.

Me: My Mom and Dad use to bring me and Jer here all the time. After they died I would come here and just sit and cry and wish it was me that had died. But this is our date. So now what are we going to do?

Eli walked up behind me and wrapped his hands around my waist.

Eli: I don't know Laney.

I don't like that tone of voice. Before I could turn around he had pushed me into the water.

Me: Eli!!!! This water is so cold!!! Help me out please.

Eli is on the ground laughing. He gets up and comes to help me out. But instead I pull him into the lake with me. When he comes up from under the water I start splashing him. He comes running towards me and picks me up and spins me around. When he puts me back down our lips connect. We get out and lay down on the blanket to dry off. We slowly fall asleep. Another perfect ending to another perfect day!!!
