I ran outside and I jumped the last step. We were playing tag because it was the end on the day. I have wait 2 hour for Lucas soccer practice. Jack was stuck here with me. I was hiding behind a tree than someone grab me. It was Jack and he spun me around in circle. We both are laughing really hard. He starts running from me. I ran after him and I caught his shirt. We both fell and we both got grass stains. I got it on my knees and my yellow shirt.

"You jerk! I'm shirt has grass stains!" I yelled at him, but we both laughed hard. I laid back on the ground and looked at the blue sky. Jack laid down next to me.

"Have you ever feel in love with someone at first sight?" Jack asked me. I looked at him and he faced me.

"I've never been in love before!" I said looking back at the sky. "It's beautiful isn't it?" I said pointing at one of the clouds.

"Not beautiful enough for me, because I'm looking at something more beautiful!" He said quietly. My cheeks feel warm. I feel his pinky touching mine. I intwine my fingers with his. My heart rate starts speeding up.

I sat up and turn to face Jack's face. He was still laying on the grass. "Why me?" I asked him. I smiled a little.

"Why not you? I'm in love with you!" He said smiling. I laughed a little. He still was smiling.

"I say we take sometime with this! I don't want our friendship to be ruined." I said untwined my finger with his. "TAG YOUR IT!" I screamed and got up and ran off.

"Then Ethan got hit when no one should ever be hit!" Lucas was tell us story about soccer practice. I turned onto my street. "Maybe your boyfriend should pay attention!" Lucas yelled.

"One he is not boyfriend and two I'm pissed at him and you!" I said looking out the window.

"Why?" Lucas asked.

"Hey Jack maybe you should try out for soccer." I said turning into my house.

"Jen, it's the end of the school year and he can't!" Lucas said looking pissed at me.

"Well maybe he could!" I said unbuckling.

"I want to tryout or least play a little bit." Jack said, I smiled at Lucas. He was still pissed at me.

"See what I mean! Jack wants to do it!" I said getting out of the car. We all walked up to my door.

"Maybe he could" Lucas said opening the door.

"Mom! We're home!" I yelled into the dining room.

"Who's home?" I hear my mom asked.

"Jack and Lucas!" I yelled back to her. We all walk upstairs to my room. "Eddie, Lucas and Jack are here!" I yelled to him. Eddie opens the door and he had a black eye.

"I'm okay" Eddie said closing the door. I stop him and ran into the room.

"Does mom know?" I asked him. I look at his face over and over again.

"No, she didn't even notice!" He said sating on his bed. I was hurt, from what my mom did to him for not even noticing him. I grab his arm and pulled him downstairs.

"Mom! What in hell is wrong with you!" I yelled, she turn and her mouth dropped. Now she noticed. "when we are always in pain, you never notice." I yelled again. "why?" I said crossing my arms.

"You and Eddie are never hurt." she said turning back at her computer.

"You always do this! Always!" I said looking at the back of her head. "Mom, turn around and look at us!" I yelled at her.

"You know what! I'm sorry I never knew you were in pain before!" She turned to face Eddie and I. I watch Eddie leave the room.

"Are you still in love with him?" I asked her. She frowned at me. "Why, he hurt your children! Ruined our lives!" I yelled and felt tears down my face.

"I will always love him. No matter what he did to us!" She screamed at me. I was shock of what she said. I left the room. I looked at the picture on the wall. My dad, Jason and I smiling, before Eddie was born.

I opened the front door and ran out of the house. I throw my back pack on the ground. I felt tears running down my face. I hate my father! He hit me and hurt my feelings with word it will alway echo in my head. I hate my mom for loving him still. I feel someone hand on my shoulder. I turned and it was Lucas. I hugged him tight and cried into his shirt.
