Chapter 11

Eddie ran to his room for so weird reason. Maybe I should check on him? But he might want space so I continue to walk downstairs. Hannah is taking a nap. I jumped onto the couch. Lucas opens the door and smiles. I wonder what's in his mind.

"Guess what!" He yelled and jumped on me. I looked at him smiling but I was so confuse.

"What!" I said doing jazz hands. I opened my mouth to show him I'm waiting. Ethan sits down at my head.

"Alexis and I are going to the same college!" He yelled and fell on the floor.

I sat up and I was so puzzled. "Wait aren't we going to the same college?" I asked him.

"Yeah, but now Alexis is now going too" he said still smiling. I put my head in my hands. This can't be happening. The door bell rang and I got up to answer it.

ALEXIS

"What are you doing here?" I asked her. Lucas came running in and pushed me out of the way. I fell on my butt and Ethan laughed.

"What are you doing here?" I hear Lucas ask her. I got up and see Jack. He wasn't talking to Alexis, he was talking to Jack. I smiled and pushed Alexis out of the way. I hugged him tight.

"Your haven't came at any better time!" I whispered into his ear. He laughed and we both let go. I look at Lucas and see his face was so shock. Jack laughed and pulled me into the house.

Jack and I went to the kitchen and Ethan followed. Ethan sat down at the counter and I was looking for something to eat. Jack and Ethan were staring at each other. I put the ice cream on the counter. I grab 3 spoons and put them on the table.

I take a spoonful of ice cream. Ethan kept silent, well Jack and I were just staring at him. Then Alexis and Lucas came walking in.

"I love your house! Jennifer!" She said smiling. I looked at her smiling. "Like this picture! Is that your dad?" She asked me. I looked at it hard. It was my dad and I at the swings, I was 6, the year I started being abused.

"Yeah!" I said looking down at my feet.

"What happened to him?" She asked me. Why did she ask that.

"I don't want to talk about it!" I said looking up at her. She grab the picture and walked to me.

"No, really what happened!" She smiled now and put it on the counter. I looked at it and picked up. I throw it on the ground. Everyone took a step back.

"He dead!" I lied, kick the picture and broke it more. "He ruined our lives and I'm glad he's dead." I yelled and run to my mom office. I picked up more pictures and throw them at the wall. Someone grab me arm, I turned and saw Jack holding my arm. I look around and see everyone look at me. I left the office and ran to my room. I closed the door and locked it. I walked backwards and I screamed. "I HATE YOU" I screamed.

I spend 2 hours looking at my ceiling. My mom going to be home in an hour and I going to be ground for months I guest. Alexis is testing me and I know she is with all the questions about my dad. The only people know about my dad is my family, Kennedy and Sophia! No one else, maybe Lucas said something to her about him.

But why? Our family promised us, that they will not tell anyone.

Lucas broke it and Alexis knows, but maybe she doesn't know. I can't just ask, "hey do you know what happen to my dad?" I sat up looked around the room and laid back down. What the hell is wrong with me. I put my hands over eyes.

"Aww!" I hear someone yell from the bathroom. I get up and look around. I get up and walked to the door. I opened it and saw blood everywhere. Eddie looked at me and I was so shocked.

"EDDIE!" I screamed and I caught him. I found a towel and put it on his waist. The towel started getting wet. "HELP!" I screamed.

"Jen?" I looked at him, "Will I be okay?" He asked me.

"Yes, I promise you." I said stroking his face. "LUCAS! JACK! ANYONE!" I screamed again. I hear people running upstairs.

"Sing something! Anything!" Eddie asked me. I looked at him. I feel tears running down my face. I see tears falling on Eddie's face.

"I don't know any songs!" I said stroking his face still.

"Over the Rainbow! Mom favorite song!" He said, looking up at me. I hear my door break open. I look behind and see Jack stand there, Lucas joins him.

'Call 911' I mouth to both of them. "okay, ready?" He nodded and I looked at Jack who sat down next to me. He was on the phone and getting a new towel.

"Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high. And the dreams that you dream of, once in a lullaby, Somewhere over the rainbows, blue bird fly, and the dream that you dream of, dreams really do come true." I sang to him. His eyes are getting heavy.

"Eddie" I said, with my eyes widened. "Eddie!" I scream. I see my tears felling on his face. "Stay with me please!" I put my lips on his head and kiss him.
