CHAPTER 8

- Welcome to cabin 11, come on in, I will find you some place to sleep, so you could rest a little bit- Connor said while opening the door a little wider, ducking down at the same time to avoid someone's pillow yeeting out of said door, followed quickly by a helmet and some yelling coming from the insides of the house. -You will get used to the atmosphere rather fast I guarantee you.- with these words and a little smile the boy walked through the door yelling to his half siblings to put down any kind of weapons and or cabin accessories (which may seem weird but one of Connor's sisters had actually a chair in her hands above her head ready to throw it across the room).

-There sure is a lot of you in here- said Namjoon - Are you all related?- there was about a dozen people inside, watching newcomers with interest, putting the weapons down, because they didn't want to scare the new boys off. Yet. And all of them actually looked younger than Namjoon and Hoseok. Only Connor looked about their age.

-Not all of us, there is nine of us that are children of Hermes and these two are unclaimed- that was said by Julia, whose head was poking from the outside through the open window, nodding towards two kids, one looking for about ten and the other about thirteen years old.

-Wow that must be so cool to have this many brothers and sisters, right?- that enthusiastically articulated question came from Hoseok, who was smiling widely.

-Let me take a guess, you are an only child.- that came from the girl standing next to Julia's head and was more of a statement than a question- I'm Alice by the way.

All of the kids started to introduce themselves to the boys, but let's be real, they remembered less than a half of all these names. Well, if we are completely honest they only remembered two of them. Everyone wanted to jump straight into interrogating the two exhausted boys, but Connor get them away while saying something about making beds for the guests.

-You are actually lucky, there is less of us than normal, so we have an extra bedroom for you two to stay in – that was also said by Alice while she was helping Julia to get inside through the window, because apparently she couldn't be bothered enough to go around and use the door.

-So usually there is more people staying in this one cabin? – Hoseok was truly amazed, he always wanted a sibling to spend time with, but more than twelve? That would be wonderful for him.

-Hermes is the patron of travelers, so besides all of his claimed children (and there are many of us) the unclaimed demigods stay here as well. I mean until their parent claims them of course, so that will be you. – Connor slowly explained while he lead the boys to the spare room, which contained two beds with nightstands, wooden desk, trunks in the feet of said beds and camp map hanging on the wall. – In these trunks you will find some basic toiletries, backup pajamas and our camp's t-shirt, so I would say you both are settled. You can also put your things in there, we're trying to keep this place clean, especially with that many people in here. Have a good rest. – and with last final smile Connor left swiftly without giving them time to say something or ask another question.

Namjoon looked at Hoseok. Hoseok looked at Namjoon. They changed into their new pajamas as fast as they physically could and immediately fell asleep the moment their heads hit the pillows and tired limbs was tucked under the covers in fresh sheets smelling like a meadow.

They slept like little babies. Sweetly and soundly, in comfy and warm beds with actual pillows instead of backpacks, feelings safe. There was this kind of atmosphere, the one that makes you feel safe immediately. All of the campers felt that way. And this night everyone slept amazing.

Hoseok and Namjoon woke up to an ugly and loud sound of wooden spoon hitting the metal pot. That was Connor, fulfilling his duties as a head of the cabin, waking up others for breakfast.
