The day was very beautiful. Even for such a dark soul like Min Yoongi. Dark meaning literally, obviously colour of his aura was his favourite colour. He stood on the side of the road looking at the clear sky with couple of fluffy clouds. He let his hair be messed up by the wind and sighed. The air smelled so familiar and that particularly made him feel at ease. He finally was home. He adjusted straps of his backpack on his shoulders and started walking. Going up the hill wasn't his favourite thing to do; he hated any type of movement in general, but when he reached the top it was worth it. Twelve smaller houses and the other one big and blue, surrounded by the strawberry fields; that was some candy sight for his sour eyes. After whole school year of dealing with assholes and dumbasses at his local small high school he was more than ready to get these sweet two months of vacation.

He stood there admiring the view. Bathing in the familiarity of his very favourite place in this entire excuse of a world. But not for long.

"Yoongi, you little shit, will you just stand there or get your ass here before I get old?" said boy just smirked and make his way down the hill.

Now, when you think "son of Aphrodite" you won't be wrong when you automatically spit out "insanely beautiful", but Jin was more than that. He actually has the looks so gorgeous that he is able to stop traffic (had happened before). But he also wasn't much of a sweet talker (I know, such a shocker) and he was definitely not about to stare at his best friend having one of his moments on top of the hill when they can be catching up at their favourite spot at the beach.

When both boys finally met there was just pure happiness from Jin, but (with a little to no surprise) also Yoongi was glowing with content from seeing his best friend.

Jin looked Yoongi up and down and analysed his figure. Not much had changed since the last camp. Yoongi was a little taller, little more pale and his hair was now dirty blonde. Both boys hugged each other and smiled. There was that long awaited moment of camp(*). Whole summer with your friends, training your powers and abilities and of course no stupid ass mortals for two months. And if there was something that Yoongi hated more than his father (like most demigod kids) it was damn mortals. Too stupid to see through magic mist(*), constantly making fun of Yoongi and overall being pain in his ass. His small local school was just a cage for him and he was more than ready to start his summer with Jin, doing nothing special in particular but it was his happy place none the less.

"You smooth talker, how are you? Any mortal hearts broken this year?" Yoongi asked knowing more than well, that his stunning friend was always surrounded by circle of admirers, even when he didn't want this. But what else can you suspect from an offspring of goddess of beauty and love?

"You little shit, you know damn well, that I don't give a fuck about this. They do this to themselves, I don't do shit..." Jin was on it again, but Yoongi liked to mess with his friends, that's how he expressed his affection.

"Yeah yeah, I know, you don't do anything to them, it's your so-called curse, but cut the shit, just tell me already how many?" Yoongi wasn't having it, he knew that Jin just wanted to avoid the topic.

Aphrodite's son just blushed a little bit and looked at his feet and mumbled "Seven actually" he admitted a bit shyly, which was strange, because around Yoongi- let's say it he was quite shameless.

"Seven?! Oh damn, you get better at this shit." Yoongi couldn't relate to his friend problems. Jin was always the heartthrob for most people at his current school. Girls and boys, sometimes even younger teachers succumbed to his strong charm. But that was the life of all children of Aphrodite, but in Jin case it was just a little more intense. He could literally just stand there and breath and next thing you knew the people in the 10 meter radius would swoon over him.

Yoongi whished that his problems as a demigod were this easy. But that was not the case. Yoongi was the trouble kid in every single school he had attended. Always causing fights between students, accused of stealing basically everything and being a dealer, because he always had money and some more not so appealing things.

"Sooooo" by only the smirk on Jin's face Yoongi knew what he would ask him "how many schools have expelled you this year?" when Jin collected broken hearts, Yoongi was collecting schools, that couldn't handle him.

"Actually two" Yoongi answered mocking Jin's respond from earlier.

"That's not so bad. I mean for your standards. Your record is what four in one school year?" Jin wasn't surprised, that was not Yoongi record for sure. Yoongi just hummed in confirmation and smiled a little. "Some funny cases I should know about?" Jin was prodding, but hey, the fact they aren't supposed to use cell phones makes it harder for people like them stay in touch.

Yoongi's little smile turned into a scoff. "Only one. The first one is just some boring dealer shit, but the second one, some cringy chick was trying to force me to be her baby daddy; she got pregnant with some random dude on the school trip, but didn't want him to be the father; when I didn't play along she just went to the principal. There was whole shitstorm about it and I swear to gods(*), if even one crazy lady try to have the "mysterious hot bad boy" tied to her wrist I won't hold myself back.

Jin started wheezing before he heard the last part of Yoongi's story "She actually called you that? Mysterious hot bad boy?" Jin's iconic laugh rolled down the valley "but you are such cute little ball of fluff, a feisty one I admit but bad where?" Yoongi knew that his best friend will make fun of him for that for the rest of the summer and he didn't mind. If he was honest he missed it.

"Aren't you also gay? Like how the fuck are you suppose to impregnate someone?"

Yoongi just shrugged his shoulders, because Yoongi, in fact honestly didn't know if he was gay. He never met a girl he liked. But he also never met a boy he liked. He was starting to feel like he might remain single for the rest of his short demigod life. Never finding anyone interesting was starting to get to him on a psychological level. Like Jin said he was just a little ball of fluff wanting to be loved by someone and love in return.

By the time the boys finished talking they were already at the beach. Yoongi threw his backpack off his shoulders as he lay down on the soft and golden sand, still warm from sunlight. He stretched and inhaled deeply. Aaaa, yes, this was it. All the stress that was building up inside his head disappeared in that moment. He had his best friend laying by his side on the sand laughing and talking constantly, as the scent of strawberries hovered in the air. As the boys were catching up the sun has set and the stars appeared. When they stood up and left the beach it was completely dark, with the crescent of moon giving that needed ray of light for the boys to get to their respective houses and get some sleep before upcoming events.

(*) camp; in the books there is a Half-blood Camp, that is for demigods only and it's lead by Chiron- mythological creature: the centaur. The camp has twelve small houses for the kids of the main twelve Olympians. Any other kid of smaller gods and goddesses (Iris for example) is living in the house of Hermes, as he is the patron of travellers.

(*)magic mist; it covers most mythological stuff in that way that mortals can't see them or see something different. So if there is some demigod kid with a sword fighting with mystical monster in the middle of the street, mortals will see only teenager with a stick, playing with his dog and then they would completely forgot about it. There is some mortals that could see through the magic mist, but there is only few of them.

(*)Yoongi is swearing to gods because there is more than one in the Greek pantheon.
