Chapter 10

"So I guess I'm back here, huh?"

Boruto woke up in his hospital bed. He tried to sit up but immediately was overwhelmed with a headache.

"Ouch!!!"

Boruto managed to sit up with the support of his bed.

"I guess we won, huh..."

Sarada walked in with Mitsuki, both of which seemed fully healed.

"Oh, he's up!"

"How are you feeling, Boruto?"

"I'm doing fine. Thanks, Mitsuki."

Sarada hugged Boruto and cried.

"I'm so glad you're alright."

"I guess this means that we've made up huh?"

"Yeah."

"Also, could you...? This kind of hurts."

Sarada realized that he still had broken ribs and backed off.

"Sorry..."

"It's nothing. Do you know what happened after we were defeated? Al I remember is Deepa thrashing me, to be honest."

"I got details from my dad and he said before Deepa killed you, he finished Deepa off. They wouldn't get any information from Deepa anyway because he was an expendable member of Kara."

"At least we did it!"

"Yeah. We brought you some food if you'd like."

Sarada put out a tray with food both she and Mitsuki made.

"Thanks, guys. Although I can't really eat it..."

Boruto looked at his broken arms.

"I can fix that."

Sarada scooped some of it onto a spoon and held it up for Boruto.

"Say ahhhh~"

Sarada and Mitsuki smiled.

"Alright alright. Ahh~"

Mitsuki looked at the two of them.

"You two really do make a great couple."

"Eh?!"

Sarada dropped the spoon back into the food, slightly surprised by Mitsuki's sudden remark.

"You two seem compatible."

Sarada blushed and turned back to Boruto, focusing on feeding him.

After a few days, Boruto was back to normal.

"Well, I'm going to go and train with Sasuke. If Deepa was expendable and he was that strong... then we're definitely in for a hell of a challenge. I'll probably leave this afternoon, so what do you guys want to do?"

Boruto looked at Mitsuki and Sarada. 

"Maybe look around town?"

"I'm fine with whatever since I'll be leaving."

Sarada shrugged.

"I think it's a good idea, so, where should we go?"

Boruto pulled Mitsuki over.

"Hey, I have an idea..."

Mitsuki nodded.

"How about we go get some snacks and look around a bit?"

Sarada smiled.

"Alright!"
